This is the 6th time I’ve photographed these two!*

1) Engagement session, 2012
2) their secret local Catholic wedding, 2013
3) destination Florida wedding, 2013  (you’ll recognize that first image from our home page)
4) Julia’s extended family, 2014
5) Teddy’s newborn family session, 2017
6) and then this… Molly’s newborn family session, 2019

I’ve said it a million times, but I’ll say it again… this is, hands down, my favorite thing about my job.

*if you also count all of the times Julia & Dave have either been in the wedding party or a guest at one of the weddings I’ve shot (Nicole & Kevin, Alicja & Adam Day 1, Alicja & Adam Day 2, Katie & Michael, Sarah & Rehan Day 1, Sarah and Rehan Day 2 ); that would make it TWELVE times I’ve photographed them. 😉 TWELVE??!?! I think that’s a record! Also, see a photo of me here with my aforementioned #bobbibrides (pay no attention to the logo in the corner 😉 )

This was one of the photos that I pre-visualized because I wanted it to match a photo I took of them with Teddy two years ago, but this time with the new addition. 🙂

I showed this image to Julia and Dave because I loved it so much and Dave began to tear up.

This was the another one I wanted to recreate from our last session.

I LOVE Teddy's face in this!

So mischievous!

I love seeing the comparisons! I mean, you gotta admit I’m certainly consistent. 😉

I saw this scene unfolding as I was moving from one room to another with Julia and Molly ::SCREECH! RE RE RE REEEEWIIIIINNNND!:: I stopped dead in my tracks, reversed and knelt down. Julia happened to see one of the photos in my LCD and exclaims to Megan, “HOW IS SHE SHOOTING THAT FROM THAT?!?! It’s magic!” She later sent me this text.

Side note: the both graduated from Notre Dame’s Law School. 😉

Julia and Dave, I’ve seen you at all of your biggest life moments and I can say with 100% certainty you both have never been more beautiful and content as you were this day that I photographed your perfect family.

If I’ve photographed you at your home, it’s likely that I’ve insisted that we take a front porch photo; it’s a classic!

The Kwait Family

I took this photo on the front porch of their first home right before their secret local wedding in 2013. For the record, they are both Catholic and wanted to make sure they got officially married in their home church before heading to Florida for their destination wedding. Let’s be real, it didn’t stay a secret long. 😉

Thank you for making me a part of your life back in 2010, you both mean the world to me.

And like always, much love friends,
