PS. Isn’t my mom a babe and a half?! If only a blog entry could whistle…

ARIELLE AND BOB’S WEDDING IS FINALLY ON THE BLOG! 😀

Not many people can poof hair as well as Danie can 🙂 Arielle’s mom Celeste walked in soon after the photo on the left was taken… “uhm… it’s not staying like that, is it?!” “haha, no mom…” 😀

Oh, hello amazing PURPLE Pura Lopez shoes 🙂

As you may or may not remember… Bob is a bad ass. AKA, he’s a race car engineer. AKA, he’s kind of a big deal. 🙂 Arielle temporarily borrowed this picture from him and secretly had it signed by Mario Andretti… UHM… let me repeat myself for those who may have missed it… MARIO ANDRETTI?! Arielle, you get wife of the year for that move!

Arielle and her bridesmaids got ready in Arielle and Bob’s home… and it’s awesome. I’d love to live in a home just like it. 😀 BTW, to future brides & grooms… PLEEEEEEEASE get ready in a room with windows… the more the better 🙂  Thank you in advance 😀

I am in LOVE with this photo. You are RIDICULOUSLY gorgeous!!!!

I don’t mean to be all creepy mccreeperson… but… I said this on the day of your wedding, and I stand by it… Arielle, you have a pretty collar bone 🙂

Arielle and her amazing superwoman mother. 🙂

Hmm… think Bob looks like his dad at all???

Had a few minutes before the ceremony started… so I stepped outside and grabbed a few of the groomsmen 🙂

Such a classic bride.

RIGHT after their ceremony, a quick moment alone… 🙂 Perfect.

This moment brought me the serious tears… Celeste told me he and his late wife’s story that morning. It’s a Carl & Ellie kinda story. My favorite ❗

Mike’s favorite ❓

I adore you two.

This was our first wedding, during daylight, at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Let me tell you… I’ve NEVER seen so many photographers in one place… I didn’t even know there were that many photographers IN Indianapolis. How can so many co-exist in one city and make a living!? To my Indianapolis photog friends… you know what I’m talking about, right?! I do have to say, it IS a gorgeous setting, and, minus competing with other photographers, it IS easy to take beautiful images here. Okay… off my soapbox. BTW, I do get that sometimes your clients insist on it… and sometimes, it’s the perfect setting for the appropriate couple. I don’t mean to sound all snotty… that’s certainly not my intent. I guess I was just so shocked at how many photographers were all in one place.

WE HAVE ANOTHER FBB (fearless Bobbi bride)!!!! 😀  Mom (Celeste), don’t kill me, k? Again, there were no dresses harmed in the making of this image. 😀

While Mikey shoots the toaster… I always photograph the toastee’s reactions. 😀 BTW… by toaster, I don’t mean the kind that makes your bread crispy 🙂 Just in case there was any confusion. 😉

Arielle had this dress made… and it was so perfect for her 🙂

What was the most memorable moment of your day?
arielle: The ceremony (especially being pronounced husband and wife) – it was incredibly personal and I’m pretty sure I ran the entire gamut of emotions during that 30 minutes
bob: Seeing Arielle for the first time as the door opened at the end of the church aisle

What was your favorite detail?
arielle: The shoes and the dress, and Bob’s mom did a phenomenal job with the flowers – they were gorgeous
bob: What details? We had time to notice details?

Any advice for future bride/grooms?
1. Hire bobbi+mike DUH! (thanks friends 🙂 )
2. Hire other people you trust because it will make the day sooo much easier when you don’t have to worry (ie Beth at Nourish catering who was basically a wedding planner, catering manager, general badass all in one)

Funniest memory from your wedding day?
arielle: bobbi+mike’s unboxed booth with my mom’s box o’ props – it was hilarious and people had a BLAST!
bob: “I never knew my hips moved like that” and Bobbi having to leave the tent because she was laughing so hard (it’s true, maybe you had to be there… Freaking hilarious!)

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
Nope!

Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Le Reve Hotel and Spa near Playa del Carmen Mexico – we highly recommend it!

Celeste had THIS sign made for our photobooth because she knew there were going to be a lot of “Bob’s” at the wedding. By the time we took this photo… the amount of Bob’s had decreased substantially… I don’t think we would have been able to fit ALL of the Bob’s there in the booth! My funniest moment of the day? As I was standing in this photo, Bob’s dad on the left, stepped out, took one look at me and said, with the most confused look on his face, “YOU’RE A BOB?!” I’d spent all day with him, and he never knew my name 😀 Maybe you had to be there… it was hilarious to me. Oh, and for those wondering… my entire family and my best friends call me Bob. Don’t know why… just more natural I suppose 🙂

This was the first time I didn’t win an emotion contest! I’d like to call it a tie 😉 Hey… I need to sleep at night knowing I didn’t lose… it’s my contest… I make the rules… don’t judge me!

Arielle and Bob, you two are the best. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for asking us to document your wedding. YOU TWO ROCK!

love love love,

I’d like to title this photo… “IN IT TO WIN IT!”

hello hot husband, I love you. 🙂

If you’re a woman who’s ever been photographed by me, and you’re above say 5’6″, you know what this is… it’s “Bobbi level”! 😀 What can I say… I’m good for the building up of the quadriceps! 😀

❗ + ❓

uhm… guess who has good news to report?!

that’s right… ME, BETTIES!!!!! I lost weight 😀 BOOOOYAH!!!!

% lost since April 2nd: 6.2% 😀 😀 😀

Total lost since October, 2008: 22.44%. HELLLL YESSSSS!!!!!

No more debbie downer outta me… well, for now 🙂

Do you guys remember back when I started the healthy train that I wanted to do a full transformation? I wanted to fix things about me that I didn’t like? One of those things were my crooked teeth. Yes yes yes… it’s all coming back to you now! I’ve hated my teeth for years. I’ve always had a HUGE smile… however, snaggle teeth didn’t go so well with that huge smile.  I was super self conscious about it… and had been saving for braces for years.  When I hit that breaking point two years ago… I decided to take the plunge and got Invisaligns.

Now, if you’ve known me these past two years you’ve known that I’ve had a love/hate relationship with them. You see, most people wear Invisaligns for less than a year. That’s what I was originally told… well, seven moths to be exact. However, my teeth were a little more stubborn than the average persons. After those seven months, I went through THREE more revisions… totaling nearly 2 years… and the teeth weren’t budging much more past the first round. My last set of retainers were done last week.  Yesterday, I went into the dentist office and he and I concluded that my teeth were as far as they could be pushed using Invisalign.  So, he removed the “buttons” (attachments to my teeth)… did some contouring and BADABOOOM BADABING… I’m in freaking LOVE!

If I do say so myself… my teeth look SO MUCH BETTER!!!! Could metal braces have done a better job? Probably. Was wearing metal braces something I wanted to do? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Are they 100% perfect? No. However, do I like my teeth 100% more? YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!

Now for some before and afters:

This was taken in December, 2006 for our Christmas Card.

My best friend Heather Cole and me… Vegas, 2008.

Up close and perrrrrsonal! Oh, hello snaggle teeth!

ANNNNNNND… these were taken this morning 😀

I have never felt more beautiful than I do in this photo. 🙂 Worth EVERY penny!

Would I recommend Invisalign? Yes… but only to those who are okay with their teeth not being 100% perfect in the end… just 95% 😀

Between the weight loss, the teeth, the confidence… I’m a different person than I was two years ago.

It’s interesting… back when I was 25 and much heavier… people would always guess my age to be 30-32. EEEEKS! They’d usually quickly try to back pedal… “Well, it’s because you’re so successful, I would never guess a 25 year old to have done so much!”

However, lately people have been shocked to hear that I’m 29… they usually guess me to be 25-26ish. CRAZY, right?!

So team… for me, this healthy train isn’t just about losing weight… it’s so so so much more… and I’m ridiculously thankful that it’s been such a huge part of my life. So… for those who aren’t a fan of themselves… now is a better time than ever to FIX IT! 😀 Quit talking about it and DO it!

Finale: December 10th…  SIX WEEKS AWAY!!!!

Much love friends 🙂
