I could NOT be more excited to share this couple with you! Seriously…. I’m Hole… Nubba… Lebol… kind of excited!
You see, I met Sarah 5 years ago when she was the maid of honor at Nicole and Kevin’s wedding in 2010.
Since then, she was also a maid of honor at Julia and Dave’s wedding in 2013, a guest at Katie and Michael’s wedding in 2014, and I also photographed her brother’s wedding (day 1 and day 2) last August…. which is also when I met Rehan.
They were newly dating then…. and I knew within the first five minutes of meeting him that he was the one she’d marry…. annnnnd…. I had no shame in telling them both that… 😉
….so when I got the call a few months ago that they were engaged…. and that they were planning their wedding around my availability…. WHAAAAAT?!?! AAAAAARE YOU KIDDDDDDINNNNNG MEEEEE???!?! Side note: THAT RING! Rehan… you blew my mind with that amazingness!
I shot their session in Chicago…. this lady thought they were famous and that the paparazzi was following them! HA!

In the midst of the session we stopped and had a glass of iced tea at the place where they had their first date…. they were even able to sit at the same table. 🙂

We sat at that restaurant for a while waiting for the storm to pass over us…. but… it… never… stopped! SOOOO, if you’ve been following this blog for a while you know that I kiiiiind of specialize in making lemonade outta lemons…. BADABOOM BADABING, I BROUGHT UMBRELLAS! I happen to LOVE EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE IMAGES! Sarah, you are just the cutest!

How they met, as told by Sarah :: We were set up on a blind date by a mutual family friend. Both of us were skeptical going into it, but then the date turned out magical and we haven’t left each other’s sides since. It really was love at first date.
