We loved photographing this wedding! You’re about to see why 😀
A quick tip… if your wedding dress has very closely spaced buttons such as this, pack a crochet hook. 😀Aren’t these shoes fun?!During the processional Mike stands down the aisle to capture the wedding party as they make their way down the aisle. Meanwhile I stay back with the bride and photograph all of the action that happens before the make their entrance. We’ve been doing it this way since we very first started shooting weddings years ago. Many of my favorite images I’ve ever snapped have happened right before the bride walks down the aisle. My favorites ❗
…meanwhile… Mike is shooting this. 😀See him there on the left side of the aisle?Sarah’s parents were celebrating their 40 year wedding anniversary that day… the priest called them to the middle of the church and asked the congregation to bless them.St Louis is full of some of the must beautiful Catholic churches we’ve ever seen.MARRIED!OHHHHH how I love this image!  SUCH a fun wedding party!
BOOOOOM! One of my favorite wedding party photos of 2013! ❗ Mike’s favorite, too ❓I mean… this wedding was IN St Louis… soooo… the arch! Though, we weren’t sure we were going to be able to shoot there because the Mississippi River was majorly flooded! (see photo of Mike at the end)Oh you silly groomsmen you!
SARAH!!!! YOU’RE GORGEOUSSSS!!!!!
See the cute pregnant bridesmaid? That’s Ellen, Sarah’s sister. 😀 We photographed her wedding about three years ago. 😀
Their reception was at Union Station. I adore you two!The long table with the bride and groom at the end? FTW! Photographically it makes our jobs much easier! Not to mention you can fit more people 🙂 On their left and right? Their parents. 😀It’s usually a bit more difficult to get a photo of the bride and groom’s reactions to their toasts because they’re usually flanked by their wedding party… see the difference? MUCH better! 😉Brad has some craaaaazy uncles!
The expressions in this photo are hilarious to me!GET DOWWWWWN!

Sarah+Brad

[br]What was the most memorable moment of your day?

Sarah: There are way too many to mention – I feel so lucky!

Brad: Saying “I Do!”

[br] Any advice for future Sarah/Brads?

Bride and grooms: try to relax and enjoy each moment, drink plenty of water the day of, plan for recovery time prior to honeymoon, and a “day-of” planner is well worth it!… and of course, hire Bobbi and Mike!!!

[br]Funniest memory from your wedding day?

Sarah: Various poses in the “unboxed” photobooth and my 18 month old niece’s reactions to all things wedding!

Brad: Seeing pictures of late night shenanigans the next day.

[br]If you could do it all over, would you change anything?

Nope! It was a dream! 😀

[br]Where did you go on your honeymoon?

Sorrento, Perugia, and Venice, Italy! 🙂
