Here is a family who is very near and dear to my heart. 🙂 We photographed Kaila and Jon three years ago and since then I’ve been smitten. She’s one of our most loyal blog readers and always leaves the sweetest comments for the people that we photograph. Kaila is something special, she has a way of encouraging and loving those around her that you never want to leave. And Jon… Jon is kind, patient, hilarious and love love looooves his family. Oh, and he happens to also be full of hot tamale muscles… 😀
Before Ezra was even conceived, she was planning this session with us. 🙂 OH how I love their smiles!
Now let’s talk about baby Ezra, are you kidding me with his cuteness?! He looks nearly identical to his daddy. 
These were taken at dawn. With this ridiculous heat we’re experiencing in the midwest… AM sessions are where it’s at (it’s 20°-25° cooler)! 
He’s such a busy body!
Then we headed back to their house. Love this. 
He’s a new crawler… we’d blink and he’d be off! Look at that form! With those curled toes he’ll make an excellent diver. 🙂

We met in Scripture and Interpretation class, Jon moved in order to sit next to me 🙂 He called my dorm room phone and asked to take me to dinner and a movie. The shoes are trumpette shoes from Target that I randomly found on sale for 2.99 (!!!!) and I haven’t been able to find any more 🙁 They remind me of Toms, but are a soft sole 🙂
