When Jesse and Alex asked me to come to Hanover College for their engagement session I couldn’t have been more excited!
One of my very good friends Kristen went to school at Hanover and she’s kiiiiiind of obsessed with the place… 
That being said, now that I’ve visited… I understand the obsession… the place is GORGEOUS!
See Jesse’s fleur-de-lis tattoo? Yep… you guessed it… that girl is from Louisville! Luckily for me, I had already googled “fleur-de-lis Louisville significance.” You see, my cousin Jason (also from Louisville) has the same tattoo (but on his arm)… so I cleeeearly neeeeeeded to know! (ever see that “Joe Pesci research” bit by Aziz Ansari… COLOR ME GUILTY!) For those who don’t know… Louisville was named after King Louis XVI (he helped win the Americans win the Revolutionary War)… and the fleur-de-lis was his official symbol.
….the more you know… 😉
I’ve probably visited more college campuses than the average person simply because I’ve photographed a lot of engagement sessions on various campuses alllllll over the Midwest… I know I already mentioned it… but HOLY WOW to the beauty that is Hanover College!

How they met :: We met the first week of school at Hanover College. Alex thought she was a freshman (when she actually was a senior) and she thought Alex was an idiot. 🙂 Then, Alex decided he liked her and luckily enough they had their first class together as Communication Majors that semester. The rest is history!

This couple is soooo adorable and I love Jesse’s outfits!! The campus is insanely gorgeous! I love the ones of them walking down the row of trees.
