We were finishing up the engagement session of our new friends Jessica and Bobby on IU’s campus when Bobby, who’s a Canon man himself, says… “Can I take a photo of you two?” I looked over at Mike, we shrugged our shoulders… and I handed over the camera. Here’s what he took. 🙂
Mike and I haven’t had a pro photo taken of us since our wedding day. Yes yes yes, we’re like the mechanic whose car is always broken down. So, when I looked on the back of the camera and saw the HOTNESS that is my husband I about peed my pants. Okay, that last part is a lie… but I did get really excited!
Mike looks SO damn cute in this photo. I’m loving his longer hair, tan, style, etc. Time for me to up my game! Once I lose 10 more lbs, I’m buying new jeans 😉 But until then… pay no attention to my saggy butt 😉
Oh, and speaking of not having any photos of us… we’re working on that. Planning on doing something right before the healthy train finale… giving me some MAJOR motivation to finish this weight off! BOOOOYAH!!!!

Awww. I can see why you love this photo. It’s so cute. And if you want to get all symbolic on it, it’s a good representation of your love for one another as well as your love of photography, given that there are more cameras than people in the photo. 🙂

There is so much going on in this picture. Mike’s strong yet causal stance…as if he’s just there to kiss you. His eye lids looks so peacefully shut knowing he’s with his one and only and your trustworthy lean in shows an affection that cannot be faked. I love this! Thank you Bobby for pushing them to get in front of the camera! My favorite photos of myself and my family are the ones that aren’t planned, that I am not worrying about the rest of my weight that needs to go or the right outfit, they are the ones that just happen! Bobbi, we will be holding you to new photos of you guys! I just finally hopped in front of the camera while we were in Arizona and I am so glad I did!
