Then we headed out to a field to grab just a few more. I couldn't resist getting some of THIS hotness. How perfect is the "Life is good" shirt?! Cathy, you're beautiful, k? K!

COLUMBUS, Ohio. I love every single little thing about this session… of course I adore the family, duh… But their personalities, their excitement, their cuteness, their outfits, and (as a bonus) that they laughed at all of my HILARIOUS jokes 😀
In the short time that I met this team, here's my impression of each one.
Brad: humble and sweet
Cathy: patient and genuine
Jackson: charming and smart
Ellie: curious and excited
Brynn: funny and energetic
Dane: independent and silly
Here's what Cathy told me that the kids said after our session:
Jackson said, "I will never get my picture taken again unless it is by them."
Ellie said, "that was the best night of my life"
Brynn said, "I wish she was my mom too"
Dane said, "where's Bob?"
And, from the bottom of my heart… I had such an amazing night, too. Each and every single person we photographed that evening makes my little heart smile. I'm even considering picking up a grasshopper. Okay… that's a lie… but, maybe next time I see you guys, I'll try it. (ICK… even talking about it just gave me some serious eebie jeebies!

SOOOOO…. that photo where all of the kids were laying down looking up at the camera… Mike somehow captured me running around them (at warp speed I might add) and jumping over their legs to get them to smile. Yes, I'm wearing Brynn's headband. Yes, that's a *handmade lovely* in my hair. 😉

I don’t even know what to say. I’m going to try not to write a book. I am hovering over my body right now – bright white light and all. You gave me the best gift ever. EVER (besides like a donor heart or something). They are perfect. You did it. You captured all of their personalities. Ellie and the grasshopper, Dane climbing that pole, Jackson refusing any affection from his sister and Brynn constantly trying to get it. You captured us exactly the way I see us in my head and I was so afraid all I would see was my imperfections and I don’t – and that just made me a little teary writing that. JUST YOU WAIT. My heart wants to explode right now. And Mike – thank you. Thank you for having that kind quiet genuine personality that kids recognize immediately and want to be near. LOVE you guys! K? k.

What do you mean “little heart?” You have the biggest heart I know. It truly shows in your family shoots. This is a wonderful family and so full of life. My favorite is the first B&W family shot. It has to be the greatest compliment to be the photographer’s photographer. Great job Bobbi & Mikey.

I have tears dripping down my cheeks. Cathy is a friend of mine and she was soooo nervous about how everything would turn out-I think having a big family makes photo shoots even more stressful. Chaos is always so imminent, you never know what the group dynamic will be.

I totally totally totally love every single one-but the backlit all standing shot took my breath away. The bracelet in the bug shot makes it so perfection. All of the looks you captured-that is what is most amazing. The looks between this family. YAY!

Among the diaper changes, spills, bills, piles of dirty clothes, cyclone decorated bedrooms, and the leaky sippy cup found under the covers (on my side of the bed)… it’s wonderfully fantastic to be reminded through your art how blessed we are.
*Bobbi Jo Jimmy John Robert – You bring the best energy to a shoot. There is very little that can hold the collective attention of our darling heathens, but you did an incredible job.
*Ninja Mike – The invisible warrior. Sneaking around capturing all the moments between the moments. Stealth and agility are your secret weapons. Okay… the failed round-off was painful to watch, but still, a perfect compliment to Bobbi.

These beautiful pictures of my children and grandchildren brought tears to my eyes. Cathy & Brad are such great parents and their children are a delight! You certainly caught their energy and happiness with each other.
