I photographed their engagement session in 2011, their wedding in 2012 and now this. 🙂

I live for this stuff, I really do. This is what brings me so much happiness as a photographer… being asked to photograph all of the big stuff all in the same family. I’m not doing a good job of explaining what I mean… but I think you get it. I hope so anyway.

This, in my OH SO humble opinion, is the definition of the perfect family photo. THIS kind of image is what I aim to capture every time I do a family session. Alllll the heart eyes.

I posted it to my Facebook biz page and momma Rebecca said, “I can’t stop looking at this, Bobbi! ??? Thanks for being there for the big moments in our life + capturing gems like this. You + MegMoney are the best!!”

Meet Anna and Patrick; they’re getting married in November in Fort Wayne. 🙂

She likes to laugh. He makes her laugh.  Translation: they’re perfect for each other.

Anna also happens to have one of the most beautiful smiles north of the Ohio River!

These photos were taken at Patrick’s parents’ beauuuuutiful lake house. It’s been in his family for like 1000 years.*

*I mean… give or take a few hundred years.

…and Patrick, ARE YOU KIDDING ME WITH THOSE FRECKLES?!?! Freckle game: WAY strong! I’m not worthy. By the way, he’s not Irish. WHAAAAAT??!!?

Patrick’s mom is a master gardener! She went to WORK getting all of the landscaping ready in time for the session. We were truly blown away!

Knowing people is my jam; and by that I mean I can tell a lot about a person after only knowing them an hour. In the midst of the session I said, “Patrick, you seem like the kind of guy who has 12 groomsmen and drinks whiskey.” He looks at me with an astonished look and says (I’m paraphrasing), “Wow! I wanted 12 groomsmen and I DO drink whiskey!” Boom, nailed it. 😉

In the midst of the session it POURRRRED rain (and I’m not exaggerating) so we put everything on hold for like 30 minutes and waited for it to pass. That’s why in some of the photos Anna’s hair is a little wet.

That dimple?! Hot DAMN you sure are beautiful!

Thanks for being you, I can’t wait to photograph your wedding in just a few short months. 😀

Confession: my beloved blog has fallen a biiiiit behind this year. Wommmmp. Selling my home in Indianapolis, Indiana; buying a new home in Louisville, Kentucky; and you know… moving to a new state… wellllll…. yeahhhh… sooooo annnnywaaaaay… keep an eye out over the next few weeks because there will be a whole lot of amazingness coming your way soon!

Megan and Gene are from Indianapolis but living in Chicago for a while before moving back again eventually. Their only request was to include the skyline in a few images (see above). I’d say we nailed it. 😉 Though I may be partial.
