Ohhhh how I love photographing the wedding party! I always challenge myself to find ways to showcase every individual’s personality.
Check back again next Monday for our favorite portraits.
Thanks for looking!

Megan and I are so incredibly proud of these images! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
These were all shot at our most recent Bobbi photography workshops. I thought it might be fun to share some phone photos taken by the attendees so you can get an idea of what we were working with…. and to also help convince you to sign up for a future workshop. #noshame 😉 On that note: we are releasing fall dates in the VERY near future so if you’re not on the notification list, you should change that (I always announce first to the mailing list before going public on social media). 🙂 I promise not to spam you!
This was the first session I photographed in my new hometown of Louisville since moving here over a year ago; so I knew I had to knock it outta the park to show the local population that they should hire me. 🙂
THAAAAT SAAAAID… I mean… COME ON… have you ever seen a more beautiful couple?! Yeah, me neither. HOLY WOW! If I didn’t knock this session outta the park then I should just sell all of my photography equipment and surrender my business because LOOOOOK AT THEMMMMM!!!! They really did make it too easy!
I love this one! Well, really I love them all.
Funny story. When we showed up in a hayuuuge limo bus to meet them Chandler looked surprised as so many people had showed up for their session. Lily started laughing, “I forgot to tell him this was for a workshop! Ooooops!”
I always try to shoot in a lot of unconventional locations when workshopping; I aim to teach that you can shoot anywhere, you sometimes just have to think outside of the box.
Lily & Chandler, I love your love.
That photo on the right, it was taken in a umm… unconventional location. I’m sad I don’t have a pull-back of that spot so you can see what we were working with. We were next to a gas station in a ummm… unique area of town. 😉
Workshop View. (Meg$$$ was to my right, this was her view)
It rained almost the entire session! However, when it comes to the workshop we shoot rain or shine. The only thing that would stop us is lightning. I’ve had a couple of workshops where we had to reschedule the session for the next morning but nonetheless, we always make it work!
I won’t lie, I’m really sad they already have a wedding photographer booked because Megan and I would have rocked this wedding! I mean, if I do say so myself. #imsohumble
With all of the workshop views, you may be sick of all of the photos of the back of my head by now; but I had to share a few taken by MegMoney with the big camera. 🙂
SEE?! I wasn’t lying when I said it was raining the whole time! After holding these workshops for the last 7 years, I come prepared with some rain gear! 😉
I’m funny, here’s proof. By the way, I think I’m talking about how the bush behind them smells like urine but that I thought it added to the ambiance of the moment, they clearly agreed.
WIZARDRY!
Workshop #26! 😀 Biiiig thanks to this whole crew, it was a weekend I’ll never forget.
Soooo… have you signed up for the workshop mailing list yet!?! Yes? Good. 😀 We would really love to have you!
Much love friends,
Bobbi
It’s been a few years since anyone asked us to photograph an engagement session in the heart of downtown Chicago. So when Megan & Sean suggested it, we were all in!
Chicago is full of so much life and color.
I’ll be honest, if I could shoot 100% of my sessions in urban environments, I would be a happy woman. This is my happy place!
I just love your laugh Megan.
The image on the left reminds me of the album cover for The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan
We can’t wait to see you both again this September!
Much love avriends,
~Bobbi
