For those who asked after their engagement session… “Maf” is pronounced “Moff” which is short for “Mafia,” his nickname. His real name is David. 😀 Moving on…
It poured rain right as we arrived. It was raining so hard that it wasn’t safe to get into the trunk of our vehicle to grab the cameras (as rain would have poured into our vehicle soaking our equipment). So, I ran out… camera-less into their house. Mike, assuming that the rain would eventually let up, waited to bring in the camera gear. THIRTY MINUTES LATER, there was still no end in sight for this rain to slow down… so, he took the risk… went into the trunk… and grabbed our cameras. I’d say it was the hardest/longest rain I’ve ever seen…. but… this last weekend in Kokomo beat it 😉 (More on that later).

Changing plans with the trolley… as we had to quickly adjust fire on a photo location. 
Someone joked as I sat her up like this… “you look like you’re getting your real estate portrait taken!” I’d say that’s one hot tamale real estate portrait! My favorites ❗
THEN… the rain ended 😀 Clearly… my hilarious jokes never fail… 😉

Instead of lighting a unity candle, they chose to braid a rope… it wasn’t until their wedding day that they realized that Maf didn’t know how to braid. 😉 D’OH!

What was the most memorable moment of your day?
amanda: My FAVORITE moment of the whole day was right after the recessional. We had a minute with just the 2 of us and he gave me the tightest hug ever. It was the best!!
maf: Seeing my bride for the first time. Then stepping on her dress 4 different times. And ripping it 4 different times.
Any advice for future bride/grooms?
Hire bobbi and mike! For realsies!

GAH! That’s my hometown! And that farm in the first picture is literally less that two minutes from where I live.
