Kourtnie and Mike are OH SO happily married… π
Kourtnie has been faithfully following our blog for a number of years. So, for Christmas last year [her husband] Mike surprised her with a session with us. I called her Christmas morning to tell her. It’s official… Mike’s are gooooood husbands!!!
M is for “Mike’s are Magnificant for Marrying!!” 
This was the kind of session where we hop in our cars and drive and shoot… kind of like a drive-by-shooting… but at the same time not at all like a drive-by-shooting. π Anyway… we had a path in mind but as we were driving from one spot to the next, there were little spots that I hadn’t seen before popping out at me left and right. So a lot of the locations in this session were me just wingin’ it! π This gorgeous field… yeah… hadn’t noticed it’s amazingness the day before while we were photo scouting. π
If I stood in front of this orange wall, I’d look bald.

Yeah for Mike’s! I am so looking forward to marrying mine next year. As for my favorites, the first and last are both winners. Beautiful bookends to a beautiful post.
hooray! what a pleasant piece of eye-candy to wake up to this morning. you make us look GOOD. π this will be a hard gift to top next year. π we had such a good time with you two, that i told kourtnie as we were leaving indy “i don’t even care what the photos look like…that was SO worth it…” naturally, she agreed. and naturally, the final product left nothing to be desired. we also decided on the way home to begin saving up for our next session. π
ps~ MY favorite is the one when mike wanted us to walk down the ramp to the parking garage, and the lady yelled at us (although she swore “I’m not yelling. I just don’t want you to walk down the ramp.” (As “said” from 100 yards away…). No offense, bobbi, but mike – that one would have been a winner. no doubt in my mind.

Bobbi, I have to say that I love you, and your funny-ness, is that a word? Well it is now. I love how your write, and your little photo captions. I’ve been blog-stalking you guys for quite some time and well I wanted to drop you a note and say that you two are fantastic, your work is fun and real, and I’m so happy that you and Mike can both do this together.
