Meet the beautiful Trish. 😀….and the amazing Karl. 😀
Kasparov Jr. here.
The “first sight” with her parents. 🙂One of my favorite bridal portraits I’ve ever taken! ❗Trish and Karl’s first sight. This day was fareeeeeezinnnnng! The kind of cold that smacks you in the face the second you walk outside. Ja feel? Thanks for being troopers you two!
On the way to the church. 🙂
This was the first time I’ve seen St. John’s since the repair after the arson in 2013 and let me tell you… it did not disappoint! Such a beautiful church! One of the best moments of the day. Zero words were spoken, yet so much was still said.Have I mentioned that I love veils?! Because I do. Karl’s cowboy boots are SO on brand for him!Father O’Rourke is Trish’s cousin from Ireland. Best priest ever. EVER!MARRIED!
Remember that whole thing about it being so cold that it slapped you in the face the second you walked outside? Soooo… I told the wedding party that I would set a timer for 3 minutes, shoot the entire party, bridesmaids, the groomsmen… and promised not to go over. Enter Drill Sergeant Bobbi… though with a smile…!!! We walked back inside and I looked at my phone and I still had 12 seconds to spare. BOOOOOM!
Their reception was at the Arts Garden downtown… this image seemed fitting 🙂INNNNTRODUUUUUCINNNNNG!!!!!During her Maid’s of Honor toast.I love marriage. “Come on Eileen!”
The hazards of dancing with a drink in hand.
Oh how I adore this image!

What was the most memorable moment of your day?
Trish: My favorite memory, by far, was our first look. We had talked about it before the wedding day and our prediction of how we would each react. He was so convinced that he wouldn’t be nervous or emotional for our first look and I was scared that I would not be able to keep it together. We literally could not have been more wrong. I was (oddly) very calm and Karl was the complete opposite. He was 110% FREAKING OUT. When I walked up behind him he was actually shaking because he was so nervous, and I think he fought off some tears (which he will deny forever, but we have pictures Karl!)… Tears or no tears, it was definitely my most favorite moment of the entire day.
Karl: My most memorable moment was also our first look, but I refute all of the above allegations… Alright, maybe it was a little nerve-racking, but how else was I supposed to react when I was waiting to see the most beautiful future wife EVER!!!
Any advice for future bride/grooms?
Have so much fun… we loved being engaged!! Wedding planning was stressful (duh)… but the most stressful times turned into some of our favorite memories because it was a reminder that we make a good team (translation: groom talks bridezilla down from the ledge) J You’ll make a billion decisions together about the wedding, and some are more important than others, but in the end they all add up to an unforgettable day that is uniquely yours.
Funniest memory from your wedding day?
Mommom (Trish’s grandma) doing The Wobble with all of her grandchildren!
If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
Not a single thing!
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
We cruised the Caribbean! Belize was by far our favorite place and we can’t wait to go back!
Beautiful wedding, beautiful people. I can feel the love!
Love the shot of Trish during the MOH speech – so cute. Also- so awesome that everyone was such troopers to be outside for photos! And the end result is worth it!!
I mean, does it get any better?!!! No…no it does not! These are fantastic!
Beautiful wedding! I really love the shot of her in front of the Arts Garden looking back at him. Great job BBMK! Although, I can tell you two were busy by the lack of BBMK working photos. 😉
What a gorgeous wedding!! In love with that bridal portrait! That bride is absolutely beautiful. And all of the bridal party pictures in 3 minutes?! That is just crazy. But if anyone could do it, it’d be you two!
BEAUTIFUL bride!!! Wow you captured another beautiful wedding SO well! I never get tired of seeing your amazing work!
Ahhh! These are gorgeous! Seriously, you guys are magicians with light, not to mention the bridal party didn’t look cold. At all! Amazing work 🙂
The one of her listening to the Maid of Honor toast!!!!!! I also love Karl’s tie.
How fab are these pics? I couldn’t even tell it was cold, until you revealed it! Such sweet happiness in the day! Loved the pic of her bride and dad. I am also digging all of your arty shots 🙂 well done, dynamic duo!
Woah, woah, woah!!! You’re totally right on that bridal shot! How beautiful! And those little boys playing chess = oh so stinkin cute.
Only team BBMK can promise and deliver all those photos in under 3 minutes, and still make every single one look like art! I would have never known how cold it was. Great job! Oh, and Trish-you were a beautiful bride! Your freckles+hair=perfect.
Ooh that last shot of the bride is GORGEOUS! And I think my favorite is the black and white of the bride and groom dancing and talking to friends – you’re right, marriage is so cool!
They are adorable! The one of the bride in the window… GORGEOUS!!!
