To any of you who visited the blog on Monday, you may have noticed a little $10 iTunes gift card contest π It was for whoever could name the other couples session that was posed on newspaper stands.
Someone guessed Corrie and Jeff… However, they're leaning against… (hey, it's a technicality, don't be mad… I can't give EVERYONE the giftcard!) By the way, YOU MY BEST FRIEND GRIGH!!!!!!!!!!!!
Same with Christina and Micah…
…in front of… (and it's really not a couples session π ) I LOVE THIS PHOTO!!!!
also, in front of π
DINGDINGDINGDINGDING!!!!!!!!! Pictured here are our GREAT friends Andrea and Ryan (to those who saw me speak at OSP Indy… this is the Ryan who came to help).
To be completely honest, I'm a bit shocked that someone guessed it. π This session isn't even on our current blog… so you would have just had to remember from the old days. And yes yes yes, Libby remembered π THANK YOU Libby for guessing… I was feeling REALLY guilty for making the contest so hard!!!! But usually our contests end within 15 minutes because I make them too easy!
Another little tidbit about that session… it was our first everrrrr urban style shoot (we had JUST moved to Indianapolis a week before). This session inspired us in SO many ways… and it really was the foundation for the style that we shoot today. Yeah, that's deep!
Thanks for playing!!!!!
Love π

Yes, this was a hard one but keep ’em coming =) You’re the awesomes.
Ok, this was a toughy-but it was fun-because You are fun!:) Thanks for being so fun:)
*I am funnier in person.lol
Silly grigh!!
You know… I ALMOST went to Andrea’s Facebook page to check her engagement photos, because I had a bit of a hunch. But Facebook chose that moment to tell me its search wasn’t working, and I didn’t pursue it any further. Ah well. Next time π
That was super hard!
I went back through you entire blog history, haha. no wonder I couldn’t find it.
I remembered the pic, but didn’t remember the couple’s name at all. Memory fail.
But, how cool that you can look back to where you style originated. That sessions sounds like it was a pretty pivotal one in your career….which is awesome.
awww, even better that it was in indy! π i love this city, and you two are gems.
You guys make paper stands look so awesome! If only we had paper stands like that in Sydney, Australia! Woe is me, who lives in Sydney with no paper stands…. Woe!!
hi bobbie! i’ve been thinking of doing a session around this theme with an upcoming family, and now that i’m SEEing it here, i’m even more excited! of course, our newspapers will say cincinnati!!!!
great fun and energy as always.
;)g
wow , even though i look at your blog all the time, i never noticed you used newspaper stands so much hahaha
π
All I know is, that photo of Christina and Micah is H-O-T as hell!
I know Clary and her family! In fact I just saw her this evening…what a small world!!!
if I ever come across newspaper stands as cute and colorful as those I might try some of these shots. For now…they are all yours as ours are only boring metal silver things. I guess it could work for black and white shots…but that’s not as fun as yours! Have a great holiday weekend!
Thanks for reminding me on twitter this morning Bobbi, lost 6.2 lbs. WHOO-HOO!
Raquel π Just wait till I put my entry up…. π BTW… CONGRATS!!!!!!
When we were in Chicago last weekend I thought of you because of all the newspaper stands:):)
PS-That is the best family picture EVER!
