Just like Brianna and Jon’s workshop session… we had to get through our normal weddings and sessions before I could fully commit to blogging this one.
Three words… Worth. The. Wait!
Meet Lanette and Cain. They’re ridiculously cute and madly in love. And by madly in love I mean these two are in goo-goo-ga-ga-over-the-moon style love. 🙂
You see, Cain is in the Army National Guard, and he’s recently back from Basic and Advanced training… and when you’re young and in love, it’s quite the relationship test. I know from experience. Up to that point in my life, I’d never gone through anything so hard.Ohhhh you twooo!!!!!They’re way fun. 🙂 Thanks for rolling with some of my silly ideas. 😀You want us to stand in front of this garage and look at each other lovingly? Why yes… we do that every day! Did I mention it was raining during this session? Yeah. It was raining. 🙂
HA!I couldn’t resist it! Meet the feet of Team Workshop #14. 😀Oh man oh man you two are just soooo stinking cuuuuuute! Did I mention they were madly in love?! This one’s my favorite ❗Right as we were finishing up someone asked if we would show them how we do the “lay down on shoulders” move. At this point it was definitely raining… and Lanette and Cain were perfectly fine doing anything we asked. We always have the best models for all of our workshops. Thanks to all of you who’ve participated throughout the last three years. 🙂Oh hey look… Now you can meet the Team bbmk’s feet! 😉

Indianapolis, Ind.
Together :: 11.11.11 • Engaged :: 11.6.13 😉 • Wedding :: May, 2014
Lanette :: photographer and part time nanny :: Hometown • Bluffton, Ind. :: five words • Hero, respectful, hilarious, simply the best!
Cain :: Student and Army Soldier • Hometown • Decatur, Ind. :: five words • Beautiful, Loyal, Loving, Wise, Smiley 😀
How they met, as told by Lanette :: The 4 year old boy I nannied (Jasper) referred to me as his “girlfriend” one day he wanted to show me off to his friend. Thinking I was about to meet another 4 year old I said “Okay” but was surprised when his friend ended up being a guy my age! Cain was that friend, he knew I was showing up that day hoping to get my number. Which he got, but only because of those big brown eyes 😉 Jasper has yet to forgive Cain for stealing his girl.

Oh, yeah, by the way… THIS happened in the midst of the session. 🙂 Cain emailed me on the sneak after Lanette sent me a message requesting to be workshop models. A live proposal?! It’s a no-brainer… but of COURSE we chose these two to be our models! I called Cain and we made plans. We were even speaking in code during the session and she. Had. No. Idea. Genuinely one of the most incredible things we’ve ever witnessed. 🙂 Ben took video so you guys will be able to watch the whole thing unfold! 😀
Now for some images of us doin’ what we doooo…I soooo sasssssy!Seeeeee! Even when they’re not getting their photos taken they still look at each other all googoo-gaga style. 🙂
The moment immediately following their proposal. Cain did such a great job of covering up his nerves before the big moment. This whole team was a big ol’ emotional mess watching the whole thing go down!
I lay down… even when it’s raining. I don’t suggest that. 🙂
Oh hey look… a parking garage… with a mirror… SELFIE TIME!!!!…at least you know that I’m willing to do what I ask our clients to do. 😉
Ben picked up one of our cameras… Rarely do you see both of us in one photo! HEEERE WEEEE ARRRRE… Workshop #14! PS. My hand is on my camera that’s hanging from my side… not Lanette’s thigh… I assure you it’s an optical illusion. 😉 As always, photo by Ed the bus driver.

Stefanie… not yet, but it will be soon. 🙂
I always scroll through each blog post at least 3 times. Mostly because each time I am picking new favourites. I was blown away the first time with the first image – I love those trees! If this was my image, this would be on my WALL fo sho! I also love love love your favourite, because you could not have planned her hair to look that perfect at that exact moment. And then also, all the rest. DAMN!
These are to die for! What a lucky, lucky couple! Just gorgeous.
I’ve been waiting to see these! They are absolutely perfect!! I’m in love with each and every image but my favorites are the one with her hair blowing in the wind and the very last image of them sitting down. Such a cool idea for him to propose during the session. Now they have amazing photos of one of the most important moments of their lives. Awesome awesome job BBMK!

BBMK, you guys are out of this world! Love that you take such fun, beautiful, full-of-personality photos every.single.time, and that you’re willing to share your experience+knowledge with us in the workshops!! Btw, your favorite is pretty jaw-dropping. The very last one is a close contender for my fav though. High fives to YOU both!!
