I haven’t posted images from our Unboxed Photobooth in a while… so it was time. 🙂 Kate with her sorority sisters. Doug’s dad requested a photo pose inspired by the whiskey photo shoot scene in Lost in Translation. I have never seen that movie so I asked him what exactly he meant, he said I needed a drink and to make a face like the one he was making.  [br]What was the most memorable moment of your day?

Kate:   It isn’t really a moment, but dinner at the head table with our wedding party was really great. I don’t know if it will ever happen again that we will have all of our closest friends at one table like that. 

Doug:  The cake cutting because we were so excited for it all night (because there were so many flavors to try) and then in the end the cake was too dense for us to cut and our wedding planner had to do it for us. It was really delicious though. 

[br] Any advice for future bride/grooms?

Kate:  Hire Bobbi and Mike! Also, Ben from Rewind was amazing and we loved our wedding video. And get a wedding planner. It is worth every penny. 

Doug:  Make sure your vest fits before the wedding day. Also learn how to tie a windsor knot if you don’t already know, otherwise your videographer will have to tie it for you. Really, you could just hire Rewind Documentaries and then you won’t need to bother learning how to tie the tie. 

 [br]Funniest memory from your wedding day?

Kate:  When Mike radioed and said that Doug was not wearing any socks before the first look. And then there was a back and forth between Bobbi, Ben, Ben’s assistant and Mike to confirm that Doug did, in fact, have socks. Also, when, for the video, Bobbi asked what part of the wedding I was most excited for and I said the beer (we got some amazing custom made craft beers for the wedding).

Doug:  When we couldn’t find they keys to the wine box during the ceremony. 

 [br]If you could do it all over, would you change anything?

Kate:  I would have had ordered breakfast to the hotel where we were getting ready. We tried to go out and get food, but everything was closed downtown because it was a saturday. 

Doug:  I would have tried more cake flavors! 

 [br]Where did you go on your honeymoon?

Napa for a couple of days and then later a full honeymoon to Costa Rica.
