These two are so so SO incredibly fun.
I haven’t done a “bobbi’s view/mikey’s view of the same scene” blog entry in a while so… without further ado…
My view…
Mikey’s view.Β I’ll call it a tie. π
Mikey’s favorite β
They had to squeeeeeze to get in there. But, they were up for anything π
My favorite β
π
My view…
Mikey’s view.Β He wins π No contest… whatever…
OOOOH… Maybe THIS is my favorite! β Yes yes yes, it is β
My view…
Mike’s view… and again, HE WON!!!!!! So, at the end of the day… I came in a VERY close second place π
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. Kari and Nick π OHHHHH KARI AND NICK!!!!!! We photographed their wedding in May, 2007 and have been great friends ever since π
They live in Arizona and have lived there since we’ve known them, so shooting an engagement session prior to their wedding just wasn’t in the cards.Β HOWEVER, a few months ago Kari emailed and said they were going to be in town for Christmas and asked if we had any room in our schedule for an engagementesque session.Β WE WERE SOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!! ABSOLUUUUUUUTELY we’ll photo you again! So, YAHOOOOOO that’s exactly what we did. π π π π
During the session Nick said, “I can’t wait to see these photos because you always make people look more sexy than they are.” HAHAHAHA!!!!!! I thought that was hilarious.Β So, how’d we do? π
Thank you guys so incredibly much for asking us to photo you, again π YEAHYEAHYEAHYEAH!!!!!!!
LOVE!

OH MAN. The one that’s your fav is SO my fav. LOVE the negative space.
Stunning photos as always – love your work! I’m feeling the need for a holiday in the States so we can come for a shoot with you guys.

Beautiful!! I loooooove your first favorite, Bobbi. It’s OFF THE HOOK.
Yes…so seeeexxxxxxxyy!!!! SOMEDAY!!!! *sigh*
LOVE IT! (I twittered my favorite one!)
And yes, you do bring out the sexy in your subjects! I wish I looked as good as I do in the photos you take! (Minus us at Cassie’s wedding. I looked like crapola that day.) π
This shoot is another lesson in how well you and Mike remember to back up and get the whole picture too. Yes Jamie, love that negative space!!!!
Oh and I love that these photos are AFTER the wedding. You know, that’s when the fun really begins!!!
Love the urban feel. Always enjoy viewing your work. Such personality.
I think image #7 is my fav π && #12. Love your post-processing!
Wow! #6, (I think your first favorite) is amazing. It’s such got such a great feeling to it. As do the rest of them! I love, love your work.
Oh my gosh your post processing is PREFECT PERFECT in EVERY SHOT!!! I love this session!! My favs are your 2 favs….they are just brilliant. And I think you won that second round, but maybe that’s just me. π Oh, and your black and whites are just PERFECT too. Have I used that adjective too much in this comment? You get the point. π
Jess π That’s great news… because Second place doesn’t serve me well… MISS YOU! Oh, and you’re perfect π
LOVE these! So urban!!!
Oh – I know Nick from college! He is such a nice guy – we were journalism design nerds together at Ball State!
These are SUPER duper HOT HOT HOT b+m!! And Bobbi, that first one you favorited? TOTALLY my favorite too!
Nobody does that crisp b&w better!!
Your favorite is my favorite. WELL DONE!! YAHOOOSKKKI!! π
I love them all!
I’ve been reading your blog for a while and am going to figure out a way for you to photograph our family some day… you are one (two) of my all time fav photogs!
Anyway, this is one of my favorite shoots you’ve ever done! Not sure if you guys were just on fire that day or if the closeness of a newlywed couple is more comfortable than engaged couples, but they just look SO happy! And your composition is incredible!
I just have to say (as a lurker) that this is also one of my favourite sets that you have done.. As Jodie mentions, not only are the pics gourgeous, there is something (extra) charming and natural in the couples character that has been captured in these shots..
rockin’ sesh.
last shot is RAD.
We love these two…Nick is one of our great friends from college! You did make them look sexy…but they already are!
Mmmm lovely! I *love* your style. Great set – and your fav… is def. my fav. The black and white is perfect.
Hey Bobster and Mikey,
I know I really slacked on a lot of things during the end of the year. I am going to show you on this entry that I do pay attention.

2. Perfect balance
3. Love the body language. It is great to see that love continues on.
4. Love the reflection. This photo should be on a greeting card.
5. Great color. Subject on target.
6. So Bobbi, I love it……
7. Great location
8. Excellent Ring shot. Relaxed and in love is reflected in this pic.
9. They blend beautifully with their body language.
