I’ll be honest, a great groom reaction isn’t as common as you’d think. John truly loves Julia; it was evident in everything that he said and did the entire day. What a beautiful marriage they will have.
I really do have the best seat in the house at most weddings. Even after shooting 400 weddings; the magic of them will never go away for me.
Even when there’s a first look, I always insist on 15 minutes with the bride and groom after the ceremony. Everything just feels different, it’s kind of hard to explain. It’s like a weight has been lifted. It’s real, we’re finally married! No more worries about the timeline. It’s their first time alone. It’s when I finally get to see who the couple really is when no one’s looking.
The toasts were SO money!
