What was the most memorable moment of your day?

Jill: Getting to the end of the aisle!  My father died several years ago, and it was very emotional for me to walk through the crowd of family and friends on my own.  I felt so relieved to reach Jeff and hold his hand during the ceremony.  The rest of the evening was pure, happy fun, very relaxed.

 

Any advice for future bride/grooms?

Jill: I will pass on the best advice that a friend gave to me:  The weddings that are the most fun are those where the bride relaxes and has a good time.  That became my guiding principle, which for me meant keeping things very simple, intimate, and not letting wedding details overwhelm our lives.  We lucked into a terrific team of people that helped make things happen, including Lauren Olson from Social Butterfly, the much-celebrated chefs at Feast Catering, our delightful Spanish guitarist Efrain Hoyos, and of course Bobbi and Mike!

 

Funniest memory from your wedding day?

Jill:  I thoroughly enjoyed the toasts that our siblings and friends composed for us.

 

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

To be determined.  We’re going to honeymoon in the autumn, when Seattle [where they live] weather turns gloomy.  We’re thinking surfing…beach lazing…somewhere in east Asia…  [br] [br] [br]
