Hey Interwebs, I’d like to introduce you to my dear friend and one of my favorite brides in the whole wide world, Jessica. 🙂
Jess is so unbelievably special to me. I’m crying even thinking about it. No really, I am. I seriously just selfied it on the snapchat. Right when Megan and I showed up that morning to shoot the “getting ready” (she already knew about my ummm… “situation” because I photographed her engagement session ummm… Mike-less)… she started crying! Her mom exclaimed, “That’s the first time she’s cried today!”
Jess replied, “It’s real now, Bobbi is here.” I’ve had that happen a handful of times in my past (which is so unbelievably humbling!)… but back then it was when I was still, ahemmm…. yeah, that… so for her to still be so excited… downright emotional… knowing that she wasn’t getting exaaaactly what she thought she’d signed up for… well, DAMN it filled up my love tank big time!
Ohhhh Jess, you’re one in a million! Thank you for being you. 🙂
On the right that’s Chris’ identical twin brother Brian. Confession: I’m kiiiiind of obsessed with identical twins. 😉
First look. Jess’ parent’s home. It was raining. She didn’t care. I love brides like this. 😀 I mean, love!
…..and it was perrrrrfect!
This wedding party was the definition of fun. 😀
The ceremony was originally planned to be outdoors. However, it was unseasonably cold so they moved it indoors.
My signature move: sneaking up behind the wedding party during vows. It’s one of they verrrrry few benefits of being short… I am much less noticeable hiding behind people. Hey, I’ll take what I can get!
HIIIII JENNNN! So this incredible woman (also one of the maid of honors) had just unexpectedly given premature birth to TWINNNNNS a few days before the wedding! WHAAAAT?! Mmm hmmm… she was even still wearing her two hospital bracelets.
I’m fascinated by families and genetics. From left to right. Chris’ maternal grandmother, mom, nephew and dad. Notice they’re all making the exact same expression?! But dad?! DAD? DAAAAD!!!?!?! Dad, you melt me.
Right after “kiss the bride,” they thanked their friend who officiated.
The best men’s toast. 🙂
The bride’s parents on the left. WE JUST ADORED YOU TWO!!!!! Jeri (mom) told me their love story, and if you ever get to meet her, you must ask her about it! It’s a Notebook kinda story! Anyway… they, along with their entire family, were so incredibly kind to Megan and I. We can’t thank you all enough for being so perfectly you. 😀
Soon after the party dancing started, the groomsmen headed out for a cigar. I was inside shooting and Megan followed them out. When she came back in and showed me the back of her camera I about flipppppped OUT! SHE SOOOO NAAAAAILED THISSSSS!!!!!! Here’s the groom with his two brothers. 🙂
Behind the scenes
MEGANNNNN’S FAAAACE!!!! HAHAHAHAHAAA!
Chris, bobbi
and Jess.
Love you guys to the moon and back! Thanks for being you and for asking me to be your wedding photographer. It was a truuuuue honor!
Much love friends,
bobbi
Bobbi and Megan – Thank you SO much for capturing our big day! Chris and I can’t thank you enough! We had such a blast with you both! Bobbi, I’m such a huge fan of yours and will continue to be forever! I couldn’t imagine anyone else capturing our story besides you!!! You are one of a kind!!! 🙂
I ADOOOORE YOUUUU!!!!!
These. Are. STUNNING. You 2 nailed it. Love looking at these pictures and reading all of the kind things about Jess, Chris, and the rest of the family. Bobbi, you are truly amazing. The day wouldn’t have been the same without you. ❤️
HOLY CRAP!!! Everything about this wedding!!! That rainy first look is perfection. Only you can take something that would normally make a bride crazy and make it BETTER than ideal wedding weather. You’re a boss. Ps. that … bubbles are my favorite feature, its like a scavenger hunt. PSS. That BOB belt buckle!!!!
Geeeeeeesus Bobbi, there you go NAILING IT again!! In photography drool and envy over here, wishing I had this kind of coverage for our day (remember when I told you I tried to book you one year out from our wedding date back in 2011? Yeah, missed that boat.) That picture of DAD tearing up captures all of the feelings! XOXO
YOOOOOOOOOOOOOU!!!! These are beyond amazing!
I remember the same feeling on my wedding day when you showed up Bobbi! You really add so much to the day and on top of that deliver amazing images!! You guys knocked this wedding outta the park! And she is one of the most beautiful brides I’ve ever seen!
What a party!!! These are fully of beauty, emotion, and personality and I bet she is over the moon in love with them. Bravo!
Girl you nailed this wedding! One of the reason I love you so much Patrick is because of your connection with your clients. Your brides truly love you and connect with you and it shows in every image! I love that dress so classy and timeless! Total side not my dads and identical twin and my husband is also a twin.
Jessica is one gorgeous bride! Woah, buddy! LOVE the way you captured this wedding! Gushing over those outdoor rain shots along with the intimate ceremony ones.
Oh my goodness, these two are gorgeous together! I cannot get enough of the happy love that is jumping off the screen as you scroll through these beautiful memories you captured! Absolute perfection all around : )
Such a pretty wedding! I’m glad it was raining, I love it when you get to break out your famous clear umbrella! Oh and their reception looks like it was a blast!

Oh MAN!!!! What a gorgeous wedding! I’m loving the bright colors of her bridesmaids dresses, and I LOVE that she cried when you got to the wedding… oh my goodness, how super sweet. 🙂
Yay for Richmond, IN! What a GORGEOUS wedding and couple! Also, a smart bride, for recognizing that she had the best photographer and friend there for her day!
WOW… I am AWE STRUCK… I absolutely LOVE this post. I remember you telling me about Jessica and Chris and their engagement session. They were the first couple you photographed as an independent business owner aka “Mikeless.” They have been very good friends to you. Jessica made a beautiful bride inside and out, in her lacy dress, and Chris doesn’t look bad himself.
You and your Assistant Megan are kicking butt and taking names. Your new website looks very professional. I have never seen another Wedding Photgragher’s website like it, and it is more user friendly than any other. I am impressed with the ideas that both you and Ryan (2nd Street Creative) put together such a unique design.
You make me proud, Bobbi.
Love you,
Momba
