Bride:  The whole day was amazing, but probably the first look. Seeing JD just calmed all my nerves. He looked so handsome! I don’t know if you were able to catch the subtle change in his expression, but the look on his face made me cry; he was just as excited as I was! Also, the first dance was perfect. Even though neither of us are really dancers, it was the perfect song for us and I loved that he sang it to me. LaQueisha, my best friend and makeup artist killed her performance too. Hearing her sing not only gave me goosebumps but truly showed her love for us and her amazing talent.

Groom:  The first look was definitely the most memorable moment. The location was perfect, and the lighting really made Janelle look even more beautiful. I got that fuzzy feeling and was just speechless when I saw how she looked.

Bride:  Don’t worry about the little stuff! So much easier said than done, but the little things are not important. Even if the groomsmen don’t have suspender buttons and you have to safety pin them in or the ceremony starts five minutes late, none of that matters when you get to say ‘I do.”

Groom:  Have fun and stay calm. I am not a fan of pictures, but they were totally worth it. Bobbi made it much more enjoyable.

Bride:  Definitely JD ripping his pants. I didn’t know it until we sat down after the first dance, but as soon as we sat down to dinner, he whispers in my ear, “I just ripped my pants.” Very romantic. So I asked, “Where?” He proceeded to show me, not tell me – he ripped the crotch of his pants. Thank goodness he wore underwear.

Groom:  I’ve got two. 1 – The groomsmen and myself breaking into a porta-potty to take pictures (not to mention all seven of us in one porta-potty. 2 – Impressing the bartender with my martini drinking abilities. I discovered the appletini at our reception and proceeded to drink three in a row like shots. The bartender looked at me like a drinking god.
