This weeks weight loss: 1.9 lbs. Total weight loss: SIX POUNDS!!!!!
I have to tell you… this week has been HARRRRRRD! We were out of town Sunday – Tuesday. On Wednesday, we met up with a bunch of local Indianapolis photographers (FUN!)… and they suggested MEXICAN (aka, THE DEVIL!)… then that same night, we went out to dinner with Marcie and Eric (something that has been planned long before the diet) to Cheescake Factory. Let me tell you… finding low fat foods while out of town and out to eat is TOUGH!
So… I was SO excited to see that, despite being a busy week, I’d still lost nearly 2lbs 😀
How crazy is it that I’ve lost the weight of my camera?! (I actually put that thing on my scale and it’s really 6.4 lbs, shhhh….) Seeing these objects as it relates to weight is quite eye opening for me… I hope it helps motivate, you… too. WOWZERS!
I only have 14 more pounds to lose to hit my goal for WPPI (March 16). CAN DO, EASY! YEAHHHH!!!!!
Okay so… I went back and looked at all of the comments from the last two weigh ins and found all of the people who are on this healthier lifestyle challenge with us. And I’m going to list you all right here (hope that’s okay). If you see your name here… please report your total weight loss since I posted the original entry on January 5th (it doesn’t matter how great or small… some of us have a bit more to lose than others). From the only NINE of us who have reported our weight loss last week… our TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS as of Friday, January 11: 28.4 POUNDS!!!! 😀
A HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE thank you to my GREAT friend Heather Cole (who lives in my hometown of Kansas City, MO!) who has REALLY been one of my biggest supporters. As you guys know from last week, she’s doing this healthy challenge with me… and as of this morning… she’s down 5.7lbs… ROCK ON!!!!! I cannot express to you guys how much I appreciate your support through all of this. Knowing that I have to report my weekly weight loss is SO incredibly motivating… and a little maddening too, HA!

Losing weight and being healthier has been my goal for a while now. Moving to a new state, getting married and starting a new business has really given my body a beating. I think it’s awesome you are updating your blog every Friday with your weight loss. That takes GUTS!! Congrats!!

This week WAS hard but we both pulled through. With both of us eating out this week and making good decisions it ALL PAID OFF in the end. I’m so proud of you and your weight loss. WATCH OUT WPPI, we are gonna be SMOKIN hot. Love you.

As for me…. I have still been getting over the flu this week, so haven’t really felt up to working out. Hey, the excuse works, right?!?
BUT, I’m feeling MUCH better now, and plan to work out this weekend/next week. So by next Friday, I should have done a LOT more!

A big Texas YEEEE HAWWWWW!!!! 🙂 Congrats to you and I love the idea of a group weightloss thing. Well, I’m down 1.4 pounds for a grand total of 4 pounds in the past two weeks. My grand total since I joined Weight Watchers at the beginning of December is 5 pounds down. Had Christmas, and all the food and goodies that come with it, not happened this year and I hadn’t gained some of the weight I lost in the first week, I would be at 8.2 pounds down. But that’s not what happened! LOL But I’m happy with 5 pounds being gone, though I think they came off my feet…my boots feel roomier today!!

6 lbs…you are my hero!!!! I loose and gain the same 6 lbs..its a symptom of pcos…but i am really working on it..started hot yoga this week…it’s a lot like being a travel photographer in texas during the summer….get it strange places, when its really hot!!! lol

i have only lost 2lbs but that means only 8 more to go. Good for you for sticking to your healthier choices even on the road. It is so hard but you can this and it will get easier to say no thank you.
I might go to WPPI if we can’t do Disney as a family in FEB.
Hooray Bobbi! That’s fantastic! Despite a week of eating pb&j for lunch (we’ve got a wedding to pay for) I was able to drop 2.5 lbs in my first week. Thank you for being such a great motivating source! Keep it up and definately keep taking pics of things that relate to how much you lost. The camera was a great idea- think about how heavy it is after you have carried it around all day!

Congrats! I knew you could do it. I find that if I’m really paying attention to what I’m eating and going for daily (almost daily) walks that the weight is coming off.

Since your first post I have lost 5lbs. As I wrote earlier, the weight loss is a great thing, I’m going for the healthy heart and the ability to run the streets of Cinque Terre in June. Cinque Terre in Italy are five small towns that sit on cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean. Walking and hiking those towns with full camera gear is PAINFUL…if you aren’t in shape.
But now with the Bobbi Brigade I think I may just be onto something:)

Sorry I didn’t check in on Friday…I only lost 1 pound. Doesn’t seem like much until I tried to picture what 4 quarter-pounders would look plastered in odd places on my body…then it seemed like A LOT!
That visualization was because of YOU Bobbi! I didn’t take a photo of any burgers but I think you get the idea.

Dan and I were contemplating Weight Watchers so that we would be held accountable, but looks like we don’t need to….WE HAVE BOBBI!!!! 🙂 Oh, I love it!!!! OOPS …. Totally behind on your blog. So sorry! (super busy this way) Okay so my loss is only 2 little pounds. Not what I was hoping for. However I did run 3 miles tonight!!! 🙂 I haven’t posted this on my own blog yet, because I was hoping to have been staying on a regular running schedule for a month before posting, so I thought I’d post on yours instead……… I”M RUNNING A HALF MARATHON!!!!!!!! (no way I could do a whole, nor do I want to ) It’s the flying pig on May 4th. Want to join me Bobbi????? You still have time to train!!!

Bobbi I have to tell you that your positive attitude is so stinking motivating. And the way you related the 6 pounds to the camera you lug around– love that.
I woke up this morning with the realization that we’re coming up on wedding season in just a few months here. There’s no way I’m going to survive the wacky schedule we have booked unless I’m taking care of myself.
So I’m hopping on board right now (a little late I know) and setting a goal to be down 29lbs by my 29th birthday on May 24th. I really think it’s doable. Thanks for the motivation!
