Remember Heather and Brian? Of COURSE you do! They got married in Mexico nearly two years ago. Yeahhhh… it’s alll coming back to you now 😀 Well, now they are no longer just Heather and Brian… now… we have a +Madison 🙂
While I was taking the photo on the left… Mike was taking the photo on the right. They really were taken within just a few minutes of each other. 🙂 It seems Bear is still learning to share. Bad news Bear… I’m still learning… it’s the curse of an only child! In the army they called me “Share-NUDDIN’!” You know… instead of “Sheridan” 😉
Remember the engagement session we did of Deedee and Kevin in Washington, D.C? Well… Deedee was one of Heather’s bridesmaids… and THAT was how Deedee found us 🙂 While we were in the area… Brian had asked us photo the new family 🙂

So, the shirt I packed to wear this day had a HUGE hole in it when I put it on… so, I had to wear my back up. Now, if you’re an experienced photographer… you know that whatever color shirt you’re wearing… the light will bounce off of you and onto your subjects skin… ESPECIALLY if it’s a brightly colored HOT PINK shirt. D’OH!
So how did I fix it? I wore one of Madison’s neutral colored blankets over my shirt 🙂 GEEEEENIUS!
Fact: I look scary when I talk to babies… 😀

Love these! The nursing shot is great! Lol to the hot pink shirt. I usually wear white shirts to newborn sessions and bring 1-2 white/gray back-ups in case I get peed on, which DID happen last week!

Love these photos. I usually turn down sessions with babies this age because all I can do it sleepy naked newborn stuff- but you have this family interaction stuff down pat.
