FIVE JUGS OF WATA! Each jug fits 32 oz… π
Well, after not losing anything last week… I’m down TWO POINT FOUR MORE POUNDS!!!!!! π YEAHYEAHYEAH! π That makes 11.4 TOOOOOOTAL pounds, ROCK OUT!!!!! Only 8.6 more pounds to guarantee my trip to VEGAS!!!!!!! π (Could I possibly use ANY more exclamation points?!!!!!?!?!???!!!)
To be honest with you, I’m still not noticing a difference… my clothes are fitting me a little looser, which is fab… but when I look in the mirror, I look like I did a month ago. Some have said they’ve noticed…. but I’m not 100% convinced. I keep thinking that once I lose another ten I’ll REEEEALLY notice. At least that’s what I’m hoping.
How am I doing it? I’ve been eating three small high protein meals, two small salads, two fruit servings, two veggie servings, two dairy/protein servings and two small snacks and at LEAST 80 ounces of water EVERY day. But, for some reason this week I’ve been really groggy. I haven’t been sleeping super well… maybe I should start taking vitamins. Duh.
I’m a little nervous for next week… As you guys know, we’re heading to Texas on Tuesday and I’m really hoping to report negative pounds lost BUT, I’m not super hopeful. There’s a gym there, so I’ll definitely be workin’ it out! I won’t be back into town to my trusty scale until Sunday/Monday so next weeks weigh in will be Monday morning. π
Now onto our little healthy train club. TOOT TOOT!

My only comment on your menu is are you getting enough calories? The minimum anyone should eat is 1200 otherwise your body will go into starvation mode and will store body fat. Your menu looks good though π (One of my many past majors was Nutrition)

Awesome work (and work it is) Bobbi! You CAN do this diet in Texas…positive outlook is the key word! Loved the visual and love what the group has done as far as the weight loss goes. Momba has nothing over you..just catch up to her!

Here’s a trick that my old Weight Watchers leader recommended…and is PERFECT for you!
Take a photo of yourself once a week. Full-body shot is best. Don’t try to make it look pretty, just take it as a record of how you look that week. Force yourself to use a point-and-shoot camera for it! Actually, force MIKE to use a p&s!
Store the files in such a way that you will know which was taken week #1, week #2, week #3, etc. DON’T LOOK AT THE PHOTOS UNTIL WEEK #4. At week #4, compare week 4’s photo to week 1’s. You may not have felt like there was a difference when you looked in the mirror, but you’ll see it when you stand those weeks side-by-side. Trust me, you really will.

Wooo hoooo! Go girl! I have done my 3x/week workouts this week…….AND…..I’ve stepped it up a few notches! Bought myself some ankle and wrist weights to make those aerobic workouts (OK, I dance. Around my house. Shut up.) extra hard! MAN they kill me, but I can totally tell the difference already. A LOT firmer. It’s great!
I’d say you’ll definitely be going to WPPI!

I am ECSTATIC to report no weight gained! π (AKA no weight lost)……..BECAUSE earlier this week I learned that I needed to eat more (long story), so I changed my plan a little (which was scary), and then Thursday was Dan’s birthday so we threw out the diet JUST for the evening and had a HUGE steak dinner w/ drinks AND dessert….and Fri morning the scale showed no weight gained this week! I guess the previous days paid off. I was really surprised & motivated to get back on keep going!!!

I weighed myself before I took a shower this morning, and I’m down 2.7 pounds! Finally, something changed on the scale!
I started trying to loose weight last fall, but then was diagnosed with a form of Celiac Disease and had to learn a whole new diet. It’s great to finally get my butt in gear and see some change!
woohoo! awesome. 2 more pounds for me… π
put me down for .5 pound. It was a whole pound on Thursday, but somehow I gained half of it back! Hey, I’ll take half a pound! Good job to you, btw…

Don’t neglect your carbs. Some high-fibre carbs, like brown rice, are good and will keep you from feeling groggy. The brain basically runs on water and glucose and if you aren’t getting foods that convert well to glucose then you’ll feel a bit spaced out.

I never said I was on a low carb diet… because I certainly am not. I just happen to be on a high protein diet… one does not necessarily equal another π

Sorry I’m posting so late! Add a .60 to the tally. A small loss but considering that I went out for dinner and margaritas the night before my weigh-in, I’m pleased! Plus, I’m weight training 3x a week so the lean muscle I’m building is a factor also.

Just a comment on your comment regarding Bebb’s blog site and ours. We had our site designed and in NO way tried to copy some else. We work with photographers and always like to refer our clients to the best.
There have never been bad feelings about Beggs, we would have liked to have had them as a referral.
Life goes on and I’m releasing all negative thoughts and feelings towards those blogs. They (Bebbbs) actually lost a client because she thought the “attack” on us was very unfair. She was the one who call our office to direct us to Bebbs blog site.
They do not have the corner on dots and colours. It is unfortunate our theme is similar but it was never intentional.
