Yeah, you read that right… I’ve lost FOUR POINT ONE POUNDS!!!!!!! π It’s been a tough week full of headaches and cravings but BADABOOM BADABING… FOUR POINT ONE POUNDS LESS!!!!
I was glad that I was successful… but I felt a little discouraged thinking about how long this is going to take… UNTIL… I took a photo of FOUR POUNDS OF BUTTER! OH MY GOD!!!!! THAT’S A LOT OF BUTTA! Butter is about the equivalent of fat, so it made sense to me. Oh, and before you ask why we have that much butter in our house… we were going to bake Christmas cookies, but… go figure… nevergot around to it. Don’t you worry… NO MORE FATTILICIOUS BUTTER FOR ME!
This week I’m going to start going to the gym… EEEEKS! Wish me luck on that.

I wish I could say I’m doing well, but I’ve had the flu all week π I have been taking good care of myself though; drinking A LOT of green tea, ginger tea, water, OJ and pretty much just eating vegetable soup and oatmeal!
I really like this checking in every week idea because I have been wanting to start exercising regularly, like AT LEAST 3 times a week, and continuing to eat well. So I vow to post here every Friday too to say if I have or not! That’ll whip me into shape! π

Yay! That’s awesome – I feel you on those cravings. Raw almonds seem to do the trick though. Any time you are craving something sweet or starchy grab a handfull of almonds. They are good for you and the protein makes the craving disappear. I used to eat a half a bag of pb M&Ms every night – almonds got me though… hehe. Keep up the good work!

I’ve had a good gym week but not great eating week. But I refuse to get deflated and I just readjust each day.
Rough week here, but I still lost 1lb! Woo! Once I figure out how to fit either the gym or Weight Watchers into my schedule (preferably both!) I’m hoping for some acceleration on my progress. π Working a 9-5 job AND doing photography on top of that is HARD!
Okay Bobbi! I missed this last week, but I’m totally up for the challenge. Besides, with my wedding only 2 months away, I could use a friendly little boost! Congrats on loosing 4.1- that’s a fabulous start!

Hi Bobbi! Congrats on the 4 lbs gone π I’m trying to work on the 7 lbs I gained over the Holidays, ARGGGG. (plus a few more from before that) Here’s a fun beverage to try. Diet Sprite or diet Siera mist over a bunch of ice. Then add 100% Cranberry juice…..the really potent stuff that’s pretty nasty on it’s own….just a spash of it to the soda. It makes a sweat and tart refreshing drink that’s low calorie and good for you w/ the cranberry juice π

Well…..I’m down 5 pounds, but most of it has to do with the fact that I’ve been eating VERY LITTLE, stressing out with work all week and I’ve cut out breads, pastas & starches COMPLETELY!
Coincidentally I’m starting at the gym this week too (if I get around to re-upping my membership) and THAT should be when the real difference happens.

I weighed in on Friday also and am down 2.6 pounds and have gotten into my workout routine at the gym. I really hate to exercise, no really, I hate it, but I do feel better afterwards and there’s nothing like feeling a sore butt muscle that you didn’t even know existed! hehehe

But I have gone to the gym 2 days this week and will be trying the “Awesome abs” that our gym is offering tomorrow.
