HEEEERE IT ISSSS…. EMILIE’S AND MATT’S WINTERRRRR WEDDINNNNNNG!!!!!Emilie, you have such beautiful brown eyes. 🙂Hi Matt! The light in the bridal suite at the Omni is always so beautiful. 🙂Nothing like helping your best friend get dressed and accidentally getting a liiiiitttle personal! 😉
…then off to Robert’s Park United Methodist…
MARRIED!!!!!I loved the way her dress flowed. Side note: I think all brides should wear a veil. I mean… LOOK at how elegant!BRIDESMAAAAIDS!
So happy! Two of Matt’s groomsmen live in China… all of the suits were custom made by a tailor there. I was kiiiiind of obsessed with them…!!!HA! P.S. Notice Matt’s (second from the left) Shirt Stays? I noticed this when shooting this photo and of course HAD to know what those were (I’d never seen them before)… he then explained to me that he loved them and that his shirt hadn’t come untucked all day. I think I neeeeeed those! Though I think they’re marketed towards men…. OHHHH WELLLLL… What a fun wedding party this was!And thennnnn…. Dustin ripped his pants…. 😀…back to the Omni to celebrate! Dad’s toast. 🙂 Emilie’s expression here cracks me up!First dance…Wagon Wheel by Old Crow Medicine Show. 🙂 Did you know that song’s chorus was actually written by Bob Dylan in 1973? …the more you know…!Man oh man I couldn’t love this image more! It’s my favorite ❗

[br]What was the most memorable moment of your day?
Emilie: Matt and I both said seeing each other for the first time when I was walking down the aisle. Another moment that really sticks out to me is when Matt had the bouquet of flowers delivered to my room. It was such a sweet surprise and made me feel so special.
[br] Any advice for future bride/grooms?
Relax and really enjoy the day. Everyone always tells you this, and it’s really hard to do. But looking back on the day it really does go by so fast. And enjoy having all the people you love all in one place at the same time. It really is an amazing feeling
[br]Funniest memory from your wedding day?
Emilie: Matt and I both said when we were taking pictures in front of the state house and Dustin split his pants!!
[br]If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
Emilie & Matt: Nope!
[br]Where did you go on your honeymoon?
New York City

Olé! Olé! Olé! Seriously though… what am I doing?! I mentioned this on Instagram and I’ll mention it again here… It’s unfortunate for the bride/grooms that photographers aren’t allowed anywhere other than this exact spot. I’m guessing a few bad apple photographers ruined it for everyone. To those planning their weddings, be sure to ask what kinds of rules churches have for wedding vendors. I remember, years ago, there was a Lutheran church that we (the photographers) weren’t even allowed to enter during the ceremony. I’ve noticed that many couples are blind-sided by these restrictions the day before or on the day of their wedding. In the past, we’ve had couples ask us to break the church rules… unfortunately, if we want to remain photographers in this city, that’s not an option. 🙂 As a matter of fact, I know of many photographers who are on the banned list for this church. So to photographers, be respectful and follow the rules. To couples, be sure to ask what the rules are before finalizing your church. And to church-appointed wedding coordinators, please know that we have a job to do and while there are a few bad apples, many of us are not. We understand the need for some rules to keep the occasional new/clueless/classless photographer from becoming a distraction. But, many times the rules are restrictive to the point that it adversely affects the photographs, and thus the couples’ memory of the wedding – and their perception of your church. Please be flexible and consider both the level of professionalism of the photographers and the wishes of the couple getting married. OK, off my soapbox! 🙂A fence around the circle?! Psh. MAKE IT WORK BOBBI! 😉
What bubble?! 😉

Amazing you guys! Darn it, it’s just so good! I love the shots in the street! So fun and hilarious! The men’s suits, yea sexy! That bride… THAT BRIDE! her dress, her veil! Her flowers! Everything perfection! Nicely done, as always!
Lovely pictures! I’ve shot at this church before and what’s worse than the one spot you can stand on the balcony keeping you from getting any alternate angles is that they do not tell couples of the rules before booking and the coordinator gives this long speech on how she will ban you for life if you make a squeak. I get it, there are some very unprofessional photographers out there but it could be handled differently. Y couple was completely shocked when they found out they wouldn’t be getting all the church pictures they were expecting. Thank you for the PSA:)
Gahhhh!! SO MUCH TO LOVE ABOUT THIS!!! You guys ROCK, obviously…and those suits!! DANG. LOVE the brides hairdo and her dress and veil and SHOES!!! LOVE LOVE the portraits and the angle you used on the first dance…and the ring shot…and the color palette they chose….and and and… seriously. You ROCKED THIS WEDDING!! SO beautiful!!
Excellent documented moments. Congratulations!
