When we first arrived… Camden was quite shy. 🙂
…and introspective…
But THEN he turned into the Camden I grew to adore! 😀
He didn’t want us to be the only one with a camera. He started taking OUR photos. He has some SERIOUSLY unflattering photos of me…. AHHHH!!!!
I taught him how to take his own photo 😀
SO much about this young man reminds of us of Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes. 🙂
“whatchyoo lookin’ at?”
Then we went outside and played in the snow 🙂
SPLAT!!!! Mike and Camden’s mom Melissa were having a snow ball war with him. HA!
SO busy!
To get Camden to do something silly… we had a jumping competition. Who can jump the highest? I definitely think he won! 🙂 (more on that later 😉 )
Then back inside to play us some rockin’ music. Camden learned from his dad who is in a rock band 🙂
Whew…. long day!
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. We had SUCH an fun morning with Camden and Melissa! I can tell you this… Camden is 100% boy! He’s ornery, competitive and independent. 😀 Yet he’s also sweet, charming and one of the CUTEST young men we’ve EVER met! 😀
Getting Camden to be comfortable with the whole photo idea wasn’t easy… but once we were in, WE WERE IN! 😀 At the end of the day, he said… “Mike and Bobbi, I’ll miss you guys!” HOW SWEEEEEET IS THAT?! He gave us a quick hug and we were on our way!
I have a feeling this isn’t the last time you’ll see this little guy on our blog 🙂 Melissa mentioned something about us coming up this summer for photos of the whole family. YAY!!! 😀
LOVE!

Here’s a photo of that jumping competition I mentioned earlier. Told you I CLEEEEARLY didn’t win! 😀 Though, I’m quite sure this photo wasn’t taken of me at the highest point (at least I hope!) Look at Camden looking at the height of my feet to guarantee his win. Mike was supposed to be taking photos of just him… I guess he thought it would be funny to get a shot of me acting ridiculous. Go figure…
And here’s a bit of the snowball action 🙂
❗ PHOTOS IN THE SNOW ARE FUN! ❓
he’s adorable!! A photo shoot in the snow is a really fun idea — you got a lot of great results!
What a cutie! Looks like you guys had so much fun. My husband would be so jealous if he saw these pictures…he so wants some snow! Great job again!
Ok…who hit the poor kid in the face, Mike or his mother? Camden deserves a rematch…two on one, no fair!
Love the blanket and fingers:)
Camden is adorable…I love all the action shots, especially the one of him jumping in the snow!
YAY!!!! That’s MY ornery little guy! And just to prove it, after reading the comments to him, he said “I’m NOT adorable!!”

Wow! I have been thinking of you so much lately. Way to go MEL. He is the sweetest looking boy I have seen in awhile. What a great photoshoot.
not to steal the attention away from that adorable child, but did you see how SLIM you look in your jump! Keep it up 🙂
What a cute little guy. I can see Camden warming to you through the photos you took. I especially like the shot off the jumping contest including you, Miss Bobbi.
Love,
Momba
That’s my boy! I’m sorry that I missed it, maybe next time! He’s the cutest little terror I know! Dad… 🙂
That is so funny – I used to refer to him as little Calvin at daycare. He’s creative, brilliant, and he never stops. He is fun to photograph as he is so adorable but he’s such a tornado! Great photos!
