Caitlynn usually doesn’t wear makeup…. but you’d never guess given how perfect her blush brush pucker technique is! 😉Nick looks apprehensive… “are you SURE you know how to fasten a tie?!” …that’s definitely what he’s thinking. I know for a fact. I’m a mind reader. Duh.
Caitlynn’s thinking, “This seems like an unconventional way to put this dress on… whatever, I don’t care… I’m getting married today!” See? Spot on mind reading by Bobbi. 😀 You’re welcome. First sight. 🙂Caitlynn informed me that a couple of weeks after their wedding they drove by that theatre marquis on the right… they’ve since torn it down. WHEW! Got married RIGHT in the “nick” of time! Get it? Nick of time?! Damn I’m on FIRE today!
You are just too cute together. 🙂
You guys know I love me a colorful background! Then it was gettin’ married time! The wedding party all did a choreographed dance as they walked down the aisle. Nick started things off by dimming the lights very low, putting sunglasses on and then proceeded to boogy down. 😀Nick chose his father to be his best man… it doesn’t happen commonly, but always an endearing thing to see. Here he is watching the ceremony. 😀Well hello there rainbow wedding party!Oh hey look… Tim is smiling! (Tim’s the guy on the far left who is not known to be a smiler in photos, am I right Samantha?! ((his wife)) ) I love me a challenge! BOOOOOM! Brrrrring it Tim! 🙂We shot a few more portraits of the two of them after the ceremony.
Loving the blue. Don’t you? Thought so.
Oh how I love meeeee some symmetry!
We found SO much color on our portrait voyage!
TERRE HAUTE! Side note: Mike and I went to Indiana State University in Terre Haute where we met and fell in loooove…. awwwww…. 😀First dance… so sweet. 🙂

[br]What was the most memorable moment of your day?

Caitlynn: Our second “first” dance. We had a blast practicing it and at times laughed so hard we couldn’t dance.

Nick: We had a dancing entrance, so I was the one starting the whole thing and it was fun to hear everybody laughing. I thought I was good entertainment till the main attraction danced down the aisle.

[br] Any advice for future bride/grooms?

Caitlynn: 1. Take time to stop and enjoy the day. It flies by! 2. Create the wedding you and your husband want. We had a dancing ceremony entrance, Subway cookies instead of cake, and two pastors married us. It’s your day! 3. Last, but not least, hire Bobbi+Mike. In addition to taking irreplaceable, timeless photos, they made the day flow so smoothly. They really do it all – from choosing makeup, pinning boutonnieres, bustling my dress, keeping us fed, being meteorologists, to keeping the party alive. Hire ‘em! You won’t regret it.

Nick: We were together for 6 ½ years before we got married. Don’t feel pressured or rushed and just take things one step at a time. The right moment just happens.

[br]Funniest memory from your wedding day?

Caitlynn: 1. My aunt dancing to the song “The Twist”. She twisted so much I thought she was going to break a hip. 2. My mom, dad, brother, and I dancing to the song “Love Shack”. We had the whole dance floor to ourselves and had no idea what to do! Dancing is obviously not in our genes, but we had a blast!

Nick: The song Gangnam Style came on and three of us started it and realized we didn’t know the rest of the moves until Caitlynn’s aunt came out to show us up. I guess you would say we got served.

[br]If you could do it all over, would you change anything?

Caitlynn: Nope, not a thing. I got to marry my best friend.

Nick: She looked beautiful and we are married with Bobbi & Mike taking awesome pictures….so nope.

[br]Where did you go on your honeymoon?

Gatlinburg, Tennessee

Caitlynn hired two different videographers that day (they’re standing behind me)… the bridesmaids kept saying, “this is going to be the most well documented wedding ever!” 🙂 They’d be right! Haha. 😀OHHHH WACKY BOBBI…. YOU SOOOOO CRAAAAAZY!!!! 😉Totally random but I couldn’t resist posting it! While we were out shooting Mike spotted an Indiana shaped rock. WHAT?! I should call my local newspaper… they’re sure to go berzerko over this… ie. Virgin Mary miraculously appearing on a grilled cheese sandwich… Just you wait Terre Haute Tribune Star… JUSSSST YOUUUU WAAAAIT!!!!!
Many of you may remember that in years past we would ALWAYS take a photo with the bride and groom at the end of the night and then post it at the end of every wedding blog entry. 😀 We started doing that over seven years ago. You may be wondering why in 2013 you haven’t seen those anymore. It’s because I always felt like we were being a nuisance interrupting the bride and groom saying goodbye to their guests… so I would feel guilty. Now if the bride and groom ask us for a photo with them… who are we to turn it down?! 😉 So here we are… mike+bobbi+caitlynn+nick. BOOOOOM! 😀 So from now on I promise to post a pic of us with the bride and groom if they request one. 😀
