ARIELLE AND BOB’S WEDDING IS FINALLY ON THE BLOG! 😀
Not many people can poof hair as well as Danie can 🙂 Arielle’s mom Celeste walked in soon after the photo on the left was taken… “uhm… it’s not staying like that, is it?!” “haha, no mom…” 😀
Oh, hello amazing PURPLE Pura Lopez shoes 🙂
As you may or may not remember… Bob is a bad ass. AKA, he’s a race car engineer. AKA, he’s kind of a big deal. 🙂 Arielle temporarily borrowed this picture from him and secretly had it signed by Mario Andretti… UHM… let me repeat myself for those who may have missed it… MARIO ANDRETTI?! Arielle, you get wife of the year for that move!
Arielle and her bridesmaids got ready in Arielle and Bob’s home… and it’s awesome. I’d love to live in a home just like it. 😀 BTW, to future brides & grooms… PLEEEEEEEASE get ready in a room with windows… the more the better 🙂 Thank you in advance 😀
I am in LOVE with this photo. You are RIDICULOUSLY gorgeous!!!!
I don’t mean to be all creepy mccreeperson… but… I said this on the day of your wedding, and I stand by it… Arielle, you have a pretty collar bone 🙂
Arielle and her amazing superwoman mother. 🙂
Hmm… think Bob looks like his dad at all???
Had a few minutes before the ceremony started… so I stepped outside and grabbed a few of the groomsmen 🙂
Such a classic bride.
RIGHT after their ceremony, a quick moment alone… 🙂 Perfect.
This moment brought me the serious tears… Celeste told me he and his late wife’s story that morning. It’s a Carl & Ellie kinda story. My favorite ❗
Mike’s favorite ❓
I adore you two.
This was our first wedding, during daylight, at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Let me tell you… I’ve NEVER seen so many photographers in one place… I didn’t even know there were that many photographers IN Indianapolis. How can so many co-exist in one city and make a living!? To my Indianapolis photog friends… you know what I’m talking about, right?! I do have to say, it IS a gorgeous setting, and, minus competing with other photographers, it IS easy to take beautiful images here. Okay… off my soapbox. BTW, I do get that sometimes your clients insist on it… and sometimes, it’s the perfect setting for the appropriate couple. I don’t mean to sound all snotty… that’s certainly not my intent. I guess I was just so shocked at how many photographers were all in one place.
WE HAVE ANOTHER FBB (fearless Bobbi bride)!!!! 😀 Mom (Celeste), don’t kill me, k? Again, there were no dresses harmed in the making of this image. 😀
While Mikey shoots the toaster… I always photograph the toastee’s reactions. 😀 BTW… by toaster, I don’t mean the kind that makes your bread crispy 🙂 Just in case there was any confusion. 😉
Arielle had this dress made… and it was so perfect for her 🙂

What was the most memorable moment of your day?
arielle: The ceremony (especially being pronounced husband and wife) – it was incredibly personal and I’m pretty sure I ran the entire gamut of emotions during that 30 minutes
bob: Seeing Arielle for the first time as the door opened at the end of the church aisle
What was your favorite detail?
arielle: The shoes and the dress, and Bob’s mom did a phenomenal job with the flowers – they were gorgeous
bob: What details? We had time to notice details?
Any advice for future bride/grooms?
1. Hire bobbi+mike DUH! (thanks friends 🙂 )
2. Hire other people you trust because it will make the day sooo much easier when you don’t have to worry (ie Beth at Nourish catering who was basically a wedding planner, catering manager, general badass all in one)
Funniest memory from your wedding day?
arielle: bobbi+mike’s unboxed booth with my mom’s box o’ props – it was hilarious and people had a BLAST!
bob: “I never knew my hips moved like that” and Bobbi having to leave the tent because she was laughing so hard (it’s true, maybe you had to be there… Freaking hilarious!)
If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
Nope!
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Le Reve Hotel and Spa near Playa del Carmen Mexico – we highly recommend it!

Celeste had THIS sign made for our photobooth because she knew there were going to be a lot of “Bob’s” at the wedding. By the time we took this photo… the amount of Bob’s had decreased substantially… I don’t think we would have been able to fit ALL of the Bob’s there in the booth! My funniest moment of the day? As I was standing in this photo, Bob’s dad on the left, stepped out, took one look at me and said, with the most confused look on his face, “YOU’RE A BOB?!” I’d spent all day with him, and he never knew my name 😀 Maybe you had to be there… it was hilarious to me. Oh, and for those wondering… my entire family and my best friends call me Bob. Don’t know why… just more natural I suppose 🙂
This was the first time I didn’t win an emotion contest! I’d like to call it a tie 😉 Hey… I need to sleep at night knowing I didn’t lose… it’s my contest… I make the rules… don’t judge me!
Arielle and Bob, you two are the best. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for asking us to document your wedding. YOU TWO ROCK!
love love love,

I’d like to title this photo… “IN IT TO WIN IT!”
hello hot husband, I love you. 🙂
If you’re a woman who’s ever been photographed by me, and you’re above say 5’6″, you know what this is… it’s “Bobbi level”! 😀 What can I say… I’m good for the building up of the quadriceps! 😀

Magnificent job once again you two!!! And yep she does have a fabulous collar bone! 🙂
verrrry beautiful! I must say that I am in love with her dress, she did a great job choosing that design…very simple and elegent pictures. I felt like you both captured their beautiful day wonderfully!
Stunning! Okay, I have like 4352498745 favorites from this post. Hands down, that photo of Arielle and her grandfather is one of the most beautiful images I’ve ever seen. Tear jerker. Her dress was gorgeous! … and I love love love the image of them laying down in the leaves. Man, you guys should be wedding photographers. I mean, you’re pretty talented 😉
I am sooo in LOOVE with her dress.. the photo of the bride right before she enters the sactuary is gorgeous! You guys did another amazing job! PS the BOB photo booth photo is hysterical!
Beeeautiful photos! I love the genuine smiles from bride and groom. Long live happiness!
Lovely. 😉
I know exactly what you mean about the IMA. It’s a spectacular place to take photographs and wonderful setting for a wedding, however, it’s waaaaay too crowded. When I do have clients that insist on going in their photos taken there, we try to do it on certain days and hours that I know most photographers aren’t there – one of which is a Sunday evening. It’s a shame, really, because it’s too hard to shoot with that many people. AND yes, since the economic turn the amount of people that have bought camera kits and “now” they are photographers that are in this area – is downright scary for what it will do for the industry.
i’ve been quietly following your blog for two-ish years…beautiful photos as always, but i had to comment on the collarbone thing! one of my professors, who is one of the most fabulous and brilliant people i’ve ever met, said that back in the day, the collarbone was considered to be one of the sexiest parts of a woman’s body. we were reading ‘my antonia’ by willa cather and it kept mentioning how some of the women had their throats exposed. my professor said that “showing your throat and/or collarbone was like the equivalent of wearing skank fishnets today” 😉 just felt compelled to throw that out there… 🙂
***ummm….not that i mean this beautiful bride’s collarbone is skanky!!! no no no!! she is beyond gorgeous! *frantic backpedaling* hahaha y’all get what i mean…right?!
Katelyn…
LOL. Thats hilarious, bc when Bobbi posted her comments about her collarbone it instantly threw me back to my British Lit class I took my jr year. My professor said the same thing.
BTW this bride is stunning. Beyond gorgeous. Great job Bobbi+Mike!
Love the car photos.
And Bobbi…you look amazing!
Very well done! Beautiful fresh images! Looks like a very happy couple! : )
Bobbi,
These photos are amazing! You and mike did a wonderful job. Plus the B&G were good subjects too!
miss you
kristen
I’ve often thought, if I could do my wedding day over again, it’d be a dress exactly like this that I would covet. Arielle wears it INCREDIBLY well.
Another gorgeous wedding friend!!!
wow, that dress is exquisite! i absolutely love it! beautifully shot wedding, too!
First: Wow as usual. Actually, extra wow-this wedding is just overflowing in it.
Second: Keep rocking the vest Mike. Cause you’re Rocking it.
damn – that’s seriously my favorite wedding you guys have ever shot. I feel you on the spot – we have a couple of those here that are over-run on a Saturday around the time mass is over. Once went to this local “Falls” park and counted TWELVE wedding parties. Just brutal.
I am beyond in-love with this wedding… and her hair…g.o.r.g.e.o.u.s! I want to do my hair like that for some fancy occasion! And I completely understand what you say about the IMA– so so many photographers there, always!
amazing, as ALWAYS! I’m just curios…did she not have any bridesmaids?
Beautiful! Don’t you think she looks a little bit like Jennifer Connelly?
Also, I seriously laughed out loud at your emotion contest picture. I kind of want to see the rest.
Her dress is stunning! And those purple shoes… I think I’m in love!
love the balloon shot! it’s my favorite too! 🙂
Stunning bride- beautiful wedding and Bobbi- you are looking really amazing! I need to take a page out of your book! : )
Bobbi level! now that is hilarious!! LOL
LOVE LOVE LOVE the shot of the shoes hanging from the light – AH-MAY-ZING! My other favorite, the guys against the blue sky… AND I love that Mike showed us how you did it. Again AH-MAY-ZING!!!
thanks for showing how you got the groomsmen shot! these are amazing!
Arielle was a stunning bride! I LOVE that dress!! Beautiful wedding all around!! (I love the “Bobbi level”) Miss ya girl. 😉
What a stunning bride, absolutely beautiful! Such a lovely wedding, captured perfectly! Awesome work, as always!
stunning. I’m in love with her dress.
That ballon shot – my heart melts.
SOO true about Danie!! Whenever a bride tells me they are thinking of a stylish poof…I always tell them to call her!! Oh and AMEN to the IMA thing. Yes, I’m happy to do it when the clients really want to go there, but I’m always kindof shocked at how many photogs there are.
