Helloooooooo Amanda!
Meet her daughter, Layla ๐
Jonathan is a Marine…
Jonathan is Marine who loves baseball… ๐
Amanda, you're SO beautiful!
John Mavris, Amanda's friend/boss… officiated the ceremony.
I LOOOOOOVE that arch! If I were planning another wedding for Mike and I… ours would look exactly like that.
We loved everything about this setting.
CONGRATULATIONS!

DANVILLE, Ind. These two got married on a Monday… A MONDAY?!?!?! When she inquired… I had to confirm that we had the dates right… and yes yes yes, a Monday it was ๐ Why a Monday you ask… Jonathan, as I already mentioned, is United States Marine… his leave (AKA, vacation time) started that Sunday… and ended at the end of the week… so they could spend the maximum amount of time together before he had to head back to California… they did it as early in the week as possible. Isn't that a cool wedding story? ๐
Their ceremony was perfect in every way. It was a small, intimate, personalized affair… and it was exactly what Amanda envisioned. When she first contacted us about photographing their wedding… she began to explain that she wanted a wedding in the woods… AHHHH WE LOOOOOVED ITTTTT!!!!!!
Amanda is actually the wedding coordinator of Mavris Arts and Event Center in downtown Indianapolis… Mavris is one of our favorite places to work, so we were honored and OH SO excited when she called. We've worked with Amanda on numerous occasions… and she always takes such good care of us. This time… it was our turn to take care of HER! ๐ OHHHH how we loved seeing her as a bride ๐
Jonathan is such an awesome guy with a huge smile and an even bigger heart. They both wrote their own vows and I remember specifically him saying that he had big plans for his future… and all of those big plans included Amanda and Layla. I'm giving it NO justice… but I assure you, it was so incredibly sweet. I believe he, along with his best man Jordan are Afghanistan right now… or heading over very shortly… so Mike told me to give a big "OORAH" to them!
Amanda and Jonathan… we cannot thank you guys enough for allowing us to share and capture such an awesome day.
MUCH LOVE!

And, as always… one of my favorite parts of the day. ๐
Yes, I'm aware that my camera is on upside down… I was in a hurry and just threw it on.

ok I have to comment because this was my wedding! Thank you Thank you! I loved every minute of this and these photos really capture it. I can’t wait to see the others! The designer in me wants to see the table and how it looked with all the candle light. Just to let you al lknow Jonathan is still in CA for the time being he will be leaving in January to go to Afghanistan. I can’t wait till he comes home and for good this time. Bobbi and Mike do take amazing photos! I of course knew that, that is why I picked them out of so many I had seen. They are truley our personality and that shows in their work. Great Job again. By the way the place was called the Blanton house it is north on Washington Street to Rachel who asked. Great setting for an outdoor event. Thank you dosen’t cut it but i can’t think of anything else to say!

Beautiful!!! I have known Amanda since she was 4 years old – her mom is my best friend! Sadly, we were not able to travel up for the wedding. THANK YOU for helping me really FEEL the heart of the ceremony through your pictures! She told me you were great and she was right!
The Kissing photo at the end is definitely my favorite!!!! great work as always!
Agreed, that arch is amazingly beautiful!! Perfection as always:o)….btw!! How the heck do I leave one of those cute smily faces instead of this :o) ?!
Well, being the mother of the bride, I am just a bit prejudice…but WOW I was amazed (arent’t my girls gorgious, and my handsom son-in- law). The photos are so luminescent of the mood. It was truely a unity – a marriage. Everything worked out for us that day, the weather, the setting , our family and friends and the best damn photographers we could ever ask for. Thanks Mike and Bobbi

I love the shot of her within all the trees. I love that you get your brides and grooms to jump right in like that!
Hey there Bobbi,
My favorite is the walk through the woods as it yours. I know that Amanda and Jonathan have to be very pleased with their photos of their very intimate wedding ceremony. I pray for Jonathan to stay safe and to come back home to his beautiful Bride, Amanda.
