Alyssa and Will had one of the most incredible dance parties we’ve seen all year!

My dad enthusiastically kicked off the dance party with a jumping splits move that I’ve only seen once before; that move took the cake!

What was the most memorable moment of your day?

Alyssa: I have so many memorable moments, thanks to Bobbi’s helpful tip to take mental snapshots throughout the day. Walking down the aisle with my parents, Will’s wonderful vows, my dad’s incredible toast… and, of course, the epic last dance. Our friends continue to tell us how memorable that was, even for them as guests!

Will: We had about 10 minutes before the ceremony where Alyssa and I were standing in a room overlooking our ceremony site, where we could see all of our guests greeting one another and choosing their seats. Getting to see all of our favorite people excited to witness our wedding was a moment I wasn’t expecting to experience, but it’s one of my most memorable.

Any advice for future bride/grooms?

Alyssa: If you have room in your budget, hire an event coordinator. (even if your venue comes with one!) Ours were worth their weight in gold – we hired them ~2 weeks before the wedding due to communication issues with our venue and they absolutely knocked it out of the park.

Will: Take every opportunity to enjoy each moment. You only get one “best day”!

Funniest memory from your wedding day?

Alyssa: One of my funniest moment was watching the band’s faces as our ENTIRE guest list enthusiastically rushed the dance floor the second our father+daughter / mother+son dance was finished. Our crowd was ready to party and the band rocked the house all night long.

Will: My dad Rob enthusiastically kicked off the dance party with a jumping splits move that I’ve only seen once before. We had some very impressive dancing all night, but that move took the cake!

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?

Alyssa: I would have stocked our room with pizza and cake – we were both starving by the time the wedding was done!

Will: Communication with our venue was a huge pain point for us that was instantly alleviated by hiring the Green Fox Events team. Hiring them earlier in the process would have saved us a million headaches. I also would have loved just one more day after the wedding to relax with our families before heading off on our honeymoon.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

We backpacked ~190 miles on the John Muir Trail, from Shepherd Pass in Sequoia National Park up to Yosemite National Park, then stayed one night at the luxurious Ahwahnee hotel in Yosemite Valley.
