BUFFALO, NY. For those of who follow me on Twitter you may remember an update a LOOOOOOOONNNNNNNG time ago about a husband and wife who each emailed me separately (within 12 hours of each other) about surprising the other with a session… π Well… that couple is Alyssa and Rich. I don't remember how the surprise was figured out… but, in the end… it wasn't a surprise at all… and regardless of the lack of surprise… it was perfecto! I asked if they had talked about it the night before they both had emailed me… the answer… no… they had discussed it a year prior. Isn't it neat (yet crazy) how in a marriage we become so incredibly connected?
Enough about them… let's talk about the perfection that is Murphy! ARE YOU KIDDING ME WITH ALL OF THAT CUTENESS?! He was one of the most well behaved, full-of-personality, hilarious kids we've ever photographed π
Rich, if we ever get to photograph your family again, PLEEEEEEEASE wear the "AYKM?!" shirt π

Sorry to be so late to the comment party – I was on the roof of the crack den all day, but I just wanted to say thank you both for being totally kick ass. Can I say that on your blog? Well, you are. We love them, and we love you guys for being willing to come out here and give up your time to shoot us. I know at this point in the season, you probably just want a couple days off to sleep, but we’re so thrilled that you came out here and gave us the best anniversary present ever. I’m so excited to have such fantastic photos of our little family. And we just showed them to Murphy who declared “I like dat one and dat one.” “Murphy, with all the photos of you with Mommy and Daddy, the ones you like are with you and Mike?” “Yup.”

Too amazingly cool. Somehow I happened upon your website and blog a couple of months ago, fell in love with your work (and your logo which I shared with my graphic design class as probably the coolest most personalized logo ever) and then you actually come here to Buffalo and photograph my (nearly) neighbors? LOVE this shoot! For some reason, they remind me so much of the Kings. Maybe it’s how adorable Murphy looks in his hat, like him and Miles could be buds. Or maybe it’s because Rich TOTALLY favors John (helllooo megawatt smile), but I love them all the more for that.
