BLING BLINNNNG! Ohhhh Katy, you are soooo beautiful! (That link was for you Cam
). On the rightā¦ a photo of a drawing Katy did in kindergarten. The assignment: draw what you wanted to be when you grew up. Her drawing: a bride.
Katy you NAILED IT!
ā¦.meanwhileā¦.
They forgot to eat lunchā¦ so when Josh found some tomato-sauce-laden Chef Boyardee from the hotel gift shopā¦ Mom suggested that he wear a bib (aka, a napkin). I co-sign that decision!
ā¦.riiiiight before they walked down the aisle. Mike always photographs the processional while I stay back with the bride.
I wonāt lieā¦ really proud of this image.
My favorite
Ohhhhh mannnnnā¦. Iām dyyyyinnnnnnggggg overrrrrr thissssss!!!!!
It was such an incredible day full of love and laughter.
This is one of my favorite moments from nearly every wedding we shootā¦ that moment RIGHT as they recess back down the aisle and theyāre all alone (wellā¦except me)ā¦ MARRRRRRIED!!!!
Portrait time! Notice the sash around her waist? I LOOOOVE when a bride wears one of those! Wanna know why? Because I think itās the perfect heirloom to pass on to a future daughter. Itās timeless and can be worn for generations.
Just my 2Ā¢.
Their reception was at a country club in Lafayette, Indianaā¦ Josh golfs there often. He took us to his favorite spot on the courseā¦
WHOA! SUUUUUCH A WINNNNNDY DAYYYYYY!!!!!
Two more favorites!
Nearly all of our brides this year have requested a photo of themselves snuggling in the grass with their new husbands. YES PLEASE!
We loved your wedding!
HAPPY GET-MARRIED DAYYYYY!!!! Mikeās favorite

[br]What was the most memorable moment of your day?
Katy: I have 3 strong contendersā¦ 1) walking up the aisle to Josh. Seeing him standing there (he looked so dashing!), me smiling and trying to keep my emotions together all while mouthing to him ādonāt you dare cry.ā 2) After we were pronounced and kissed, we both turned to our guests and just took a moment to look around. It was like we both inhaled and exhaled together. I remember seeing where my friends and family were sitting. 3) My father/daughter dance. I knew I was going to lose it, because Iād been waiting for this moment since I was 5 years old. The song that my dad had sang to me my whole life came on, and I was complete waterworks. AND our sparkler exit! That was more than I ever imagined and definitely memorable!!
Josh: The whole day! Probably seeing Katy walk up the aisle and walking back down the aisle as a married couple.
[br] Any advice for future bride/grooms?
Katy: Decide whatās important and entrust that to reliable people (ie: photosāBobbi and Mike!) It will take the stress off and allow you to be in the moment instead of micromanaging details.
Josh: Go with the flow, and just enjoy everything about the day. Oh, and get on the dance floor!
[br]Funniest memory from your wedding day?
Katy: Watching Joshās side of the family dance to The Tootsie Roll. They were hilarious and actually quite good! Everyone in the room was loving it.
Josh: When Katy dropped her communion bread. It landed by my shoe, and neither of us knew what to do. We both looked at each other with questioning eyes. Do I pick it up and give it to her, do we get a new piece? I ended up bending down to get it and she ate it like nothing happened.
[br]If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
Katy: Not a thingāexcept making the day last even longer. I didnāt want it to end.
Josh: I wouldnāt change anything. It was perfect, even the unexpected moments.
[br]Where did you go on your honeymoon?
We took a mini-moon to Traverse City, MI and then spent 8 days in Maui, Hawaii.

Iām only blogging that photo on the left to show you how tall they are! ā¦or to show you how short I amā¦ whicheverā¦ theyāre both accurate statements.
mike+bobbi+katy+josh. We love when our couples request a photo with usā¦ it genuinely means the world.
[br] [br] [br] [br] Canāt thank you guys enough for asking us to capture your day. Also, thank you to Katyās and Joshās family and friends for treating us like one of their own!
Much love friends!

Oh I love this. I teared up seeing his reaction and then the tears fell reading Katyās memorable moments. That wind/veil shot, so awesome! Beautiful job as always, friends! And ps, Iām totally bummed we didnāt get 2 pics from our wedding- a laying down in the grass shot and a photo w you and mike. xx
Sooooo beautiful!!! All of their portraits are so gorgeous and so simple ā timeless, for sure! Iām definitely envious of the ālaying in the grassā photo ā wanted one sooo bad, but you remember how dry it was (brown grass = yuck). Anywhoā¦ congrats to Katy + Josh and their families!
YEAH! SO GOOD! I just relived the day and it made me happy. You guys are awesome.
Thereās something about this post that makes me feel like I actually got to see the entire day! All the emotion, the excitement, everything! LOOOOVE! The veil shot ā SO GOOOOD! LOVE this whole wedding! Beautifully done!
WOOOWZER! Beautiful!! You guys are thee BEST! What a memorable day/night for all of us! Thank you for capturing the love of these two! Yes- I know heās a grown married man now, but the Beefaroni ā really Josh?!! Katy would kill him -and me -if he got any on his tux shirt before the wedding! : D
Anyway- thanks again for being brilliant, guys!! You Rock!!!
That image of Joshās reaction to seeing her. Oh man. And that veil shot is so beautiful!! I love Katyās smile!!
Happy to see the beautiful pictures. No question in my mind that Katy would be a beautiful bride as she is such on a daily basis. Josh does look quite dapper as a groom. Love how you captured them such a great couple. Also love your blogging skills. Thank you for sharing these.
The best decision Katy ever made was saying āYesā to Josh Hembrough. Her second-best decision was reserving the talented team of Bobbi+Mike for their wedding day. Bobbi, your āeyeā is both artistic and emotional. The shot of Katy and her dad right before he escorts her down the aisle gave me chills, thrills, tears and sighs. Your photos not only capture those once-in-a-lifetime moments, they also capture our imaginations as they tell their stories. Thank you both for giving us such a wonderful experience that day. Your talents are awe-inspiring.
May God continue to bless you both. Thank you. Thank you. Mama Esh
Beautiful couple. I love tears at a wedding! Seals the moment for me.
Insider noteā¦ The picture of Katy holding her bouquet shows a blue crystal pin attached to the stems. This pin belonged to Katyās grandmother Grant (my mother). Circa 1940ās. Grandma Dicky passed away one month before Katy ās twelfth birthday. I was so honored that Katy wanted to carry a memory of my mother on her wedding day. Grandma Dicky would be smiling too. Mama Esh
Bobbi, you mention the sash being a timeless piece to pass on and I couldnāt agree moreā¦ but these PHOTOS!ā¦ I canāt help but think what timeless treasures these will become! Beautifully photographed weddingā¦ Beautiful couple/families!!

Oh how I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. Sigh, I think my favorite was the wind blowing her view. They are so much in love and of course you captured it just perfectly as always. Gosh our jobs are AMAZING! xo

So I just love the fact that 1. Katy still has the drawing of what she wanted to be when she grew up and 2. that she wanted to be a bride! And, Bobbi, I just love the detail you add to the blog ā Chef Boyardee! Next, the groomās reaction to seeing his bride is priceless. Last, I just adore that sky shot. Gah!
