Are you mentally prepared to be blown away? No? Okay. Go get yourself a cold pop and come back when you’re ready. Her dress was outta this world beautiful… and so perfectly Nikaela. 🙂HOLY HOT TAMALE BRIDESMAID DRESSES BATMAN!Nikaela and Nick got married on Nikaela’s mom’s property… every photo that we took that day was taken there. …nothin’ like some amber waves of grain to add a little America to the pic… Their ceremony was absolutely breathtaking!!! My favorite ❗I love marriage. 🙂
Wuv… twuuue wuv…. Then it was time for a few portraits of just the two of them. Those amber waves of grain sure didn’t disappoint!Nikaela’s mom and her attention to detail is unmatched. I’ve never seen a more detailed wedding… and that’s sayin’ something…. after all, we’ve shot over 300 weddings! Side note: I’m sure that many of you have noticed that I don’t blog a lot of detail shots… I usually only blog 25-30 images from a wedding… our specialty is telling stories and that’s what we prefer to do with our 30-ish images. That being said, we DEFINITELY shoot plenty of them… you just don’t see too many of them here. 🙂
LOVE! THIS!Ohhhhh happy dayyyyyy! We’ve had a BEAUTIFUL summer here in good ol’ Indiana!
RECEPTION TIME! It started to rain about an hour before their scheduled sparkler exit. PSH! They didn’t let a little bit of RAIN stop ’em! Mike’s favorite ❓

[br]What was the most memorable moment of your day?
Nikaela: Walking into the ceremony was the most emotional, and seeing Nick and our family and friends standing in front of me was so humbling and unlike any feeling ever, simply amazing! I also loved the serenity of our last dance, I couldn’t believe that it was all over and I will never forget the bliss I felt in those few minutes dancing with Nick.
Nicholas: The decision to not see Nikaela on our wedding day was highly debated leading up to the wedding. Now, I am so glad we didn’t see each other because the image of her in her wedding dress coming out of the field will stay with me for the rest of my life.
[br] Any advice for future bride/grooms?
Take your time in choosing who to surround yourself with on your wedding day. It makes all the difference and will allow you to relax and enjoy your Wedding day!
[br]Funniest memory from your wedding day?
We both loved the impromptu hoe-down during the Devil Went Down to Georgia. It was so much fun to watch everyone take their turn in the middle of the circle dancing to a song that was out of our dancing comfort zones 🙂
[br]If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
Nikaela: Our wedding day was amazing and I wish that it could have lasted forever but lighting the paper lanterns and worrying about everything catching on fire was a little more stressful than I would have liked.
Nicholas: Not a thing, except maybe the paper lanterns.
[br]Where did you go on your honeymoon?
We were so lucky to be able to spend 10 days sailing around Italy and Greece along with a few days in both Florence and Rome. We had the best time together and neither of us wanted to come back to reality!
