Elizabeth and Matt’s day was so awesomely awesome. These two, along with their families and friends, are one in a million. On the left, that’s Elizabeth’s dad Jim (who I just noticed happens to be in this blog entry more than the average father of the bride!), he’s a professional bowtie tier (is that even a word? I just looked in my dictionary and it’s a word for a platform… but not necessarily a word used for those who tie ties… hmmmm…).
Sewed into the bottom of the crinoline of Elizabeth’s wedding dress was the lace that made up her mother’s wedding dress. I just think that’s the perfect way to incorporate your mom’s dress! For those planning a wedding, write that down… it’s genius. 🙂Meanwhile… 🙂Something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue! This little guy was an out-of-the-movies kind of cute. The two fathers discussing something clearly very deep before the ceremony…or maybe football. Who knows!?I think that the aforementioned professional bowtie tier tied that bowtie. Try saying that five times fast! Sidenote… Matt, you remind me of my dad’s side of the family… namely my Uncle Kevin. I only have one pic and it’s from the 80’s… but here you go. 🙂I LOOOOOVED ALL OF THE BRIDESMAIDS DRESSES!!!!! This was the first time I’d ever seen such bold colors in the “choose your own dress” color palette… and I loved it! So well done! As a photographer who is sometimes not great with names, it was also very handy… “blue dress… move to the left a bit…” HA!Oftentimes when I photograph the bride alone, I ask that the maid of honor be there. I said to Elizabeth, “look at Rachel!” Then to Rachel I said, “Make Elizabeth laugh!” This was what happened. 😉 Image on the left by Mike. Image on the right… me. 😉
The bridesmaids’ flowers… KALE FLOWERS! I didn’t even know such a thing existed!?
Right before the walk down the aisle. 🙂
I wish I could hear what Jim was saying up there… clearly it was quite comical!
The out-of-the-movies kind of cute nephew decided he wanted to color in the midst of the ceremony. 🙂 Good idea young man!
Such an excellent ceremony. 🙂
MARRIED!The ridiculously fun wedding party in all of their colorful amazingness! My view on the left. Mike’s on the right. 🙂 He always has a way of surprising me. 😀Ohhhh that wacky Mike! 😉
We adore you two…. to the max. 🙂 You two have quite a way of bringing out the best and the most genuine personalities in the people you love. The people in your lives are lucky to have you. For real. I love your red hair. 🙂
First dance… “I Will” by the Beatles. 🙂 Perfection!Yes yes yes Elizabeth… given how many images there are of your dad here in this blog entry… does that answer your question? 😉

[br]What was the most memorable moment of your day?
Elizabeth: One point that really stands out in my mind is when we were standing together at the beginning of the ceremony, and we were looking at our friends standing there facing us, and that was the first time we had seen all of them together in their outfits. They looked fantastic! They looked completely perfect and beautiful!
Matt: From my perspective the most memorable moment was essentially the same, but it started at the beginning of la vie en rose when the entourage entered the ceremony.
[br] Any advice for future bride/grooms?
Surround yourself with people you love.
[br]Funniest memory from your wedding day?
Trying to cut the cake. We tried to only cut a sliver, but then we weren’t able to get any cake out to eat, so we basically just ate icing. It was delicious though!
[br]If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
Yes, we would figure out how Bobbi got to take home desserts from the reception and we didn’t! All you have to do was ask! 😉 Come on now… you know I’m a professional wedding guest! HA!
[br]Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Mendocino, California

YESSSS!!! The gang’s all heeeeeere!!!!!…during the ceremony… Is there any other way to shoot than with your hip popped? Didn’t think so. You can’t be mad that even when I’m shooting I’m posin’ it up like a model. It’s my nature… what can I say?
Matt’s dad and I were clearly BFFs! 😀 And what the heck am I doing in that photo on the right?! Whatever the case, they don’t seem mad about it. 😉Wanna know what photographer swagger looks like? Well… here it is! HA! I remember being was quite excited about the images that I just shot as we walked backed into the reception after photo time… but I really don’t remember doing this at all. Elizabeth and Matt… do YOU remember?! I’m so weird…
