Bling bling! Can you guess what I took this on???
I ALWAYS try to tell our brides to find a room with a big window to get ready in. Lauren listened! The color is always SO much more beautiful. I’m starting a campaign… “SAY NOLESCENT TO FLUORESCENT!” (I’m a good rhymer…)
LOVE!Meanwhile…Their first sight πSo much happening in this image…Right after they kissed, they walked down the aisle directly into that elevator and up they went. I snapped that image RIGHT as the doors were closing.
“…and we just might live the good life yet!” (if you got that, high fives!) Mike’s favorite β I love brides who wear non-white shoes! This was my favorite part of the whole day! Notice Danny’s hands clinched on for dear life? I think he almost fell off of that chair twice! My favorite βLauren and Danny surprised everyone with their first dance. No one, to include their parents, knew that they had been taking dance lessons… π

What was the most memorable moment of your day?
lauren: 1. My dad, and then Danny, each seeing me for the first time. 2. Walking down the aisle 3. The part of the ceremony when Rabbi Rose said, “…according to the power vested in me by the state of Maryland…” when we were about to be pronounced as husband and wife, I just about lost it and will never forget how I felt in that moment.
danny: watching Lauren walk down the aisle and trying to keep my composure.
Any advice for future bride/grooms?
lauren: Hire Bobbi and Mike, of course! (Good advice! Thanks friend! π ) Do what makes you happy. Hire vendors who are true professionals so when the big day comes, you know they’re going to take care of everything. Dance to every song. Plan as best you can, and then just let it go the day of the wedding!
Funniest memory from your wedding day?
lauren: Re-doing some of the moves from our first dance later in the evening for Bobbi to catch a photo of them.
danny: Lauren being handed a chair with the cushion detached from the chair for the chair lifting (i still remember it going through my head “this isn’t going to go right, lets get a new chair”)
If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
lauren: Nope!
danny: I would have remembered to eat more cake.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Hawaii!
There is no photo of bobbi+mike+lauren+danny π They left in a hurry and we didn’t get the chance to take it…
Go go gadget bendy!
Danny picked up our camera and took a photo π One of the very few photos of both of us in action on a wedding day! BTW, for those who it’s not obvious to, we’re bustling her train.
Much love friends!

is the ring shot taken on bubble wrap? that’s what it looks like to me anyway!
lovely work as always π
Great photos as always! I really love the elevator shot!
bobbi – i love the Belvedere Hotel shot! i think it is my favorite, i didn’t see them to start with – i was focusing on the architecture – then as my eyes swung through the shot i saw the couple in the window. what a great picture!
I am guessing bubble wrap also!
That Hotel Belvedere shot….holy amazingness! And my guess is a golf ball for the ring shot?
You are so right about getting ready in front of a big window. These turned out so nicely… Good series.
Holy heck, that shot out side the hotel is amazing, but I am loving the elevator shot even more!! Amazing job my friend, and I am going with the bubble wrap crowd (though they look like contact lenses!)
My guess is bubble wrap also. WHATEVER it is it adds to that AMAZING ring shot. Your photos are beautiful but that shot blows me away!
Bubble wrap??
Eekss! So beautiful! Love love the red lips photo bobbi. Georgia, i’m so happy you got to the “bobbi and mike experience” i cant wait to see the rest π
Ok I’ve never commented on your blog before but read it as often as you post. Anyways; BUBBLE WRAP is my guess! Also that picture of them in the hotel window…BRILLIANT! Great job as always!! π
Is the ring shot taken on ice cubes? Love the photos!!
Bubble Wrap? π lol
To answer you all…. nope, it’s not bubble wrap π (…nor is it ice cubes) π Have I mentioned lately that I love our blog readers? Because I do… π
Love the shot outside of the Belvidere. Great job, you two. BUT, I HAVE to add, Bobbi, you look AMAZING.
That shot in the elevator?! Holy amazingness. Oh and I have the Mr. Belvedere theme song in my head now! π
bubble wrap is my guess!
I’m going to venture a guess and say the ring shot was taken atop a turned-over highball glass from the hotel.
Carp…. You got it!!!!
Is the ring in a glass soap dish?
Inspiring shots, btw!
That shot of them with The Belevedere? RIDIC.
oooh, I guess bubble wrap! cool ring shot!
Gorgeous pictures, like always!! I had to laugh when I saw their songs. Those are the two songs I’ve been teaching myself to play both of those on the ukulele, ha!
Good to see that year as a bartender paid off. Great idea, and wonderful photos!
It’s a very good session. I love it!!!!
I love that you two take pictures of the other shooting too…it’s freaking cute!
Looks like the shot was taken on the bottom of a glass ashtray. Love the Belvedere shots. I miss my home…Baltimore.

Wow these are beautiful! The ring shot is amazing, great work. π
i almost NEVER post on here…but that Belvedere shot with them in the window AND a caption from Mr. Belvedere!?!?! Amazing! I shouted to tell my husband (he’s 6 feet away from me). I love late 80s-early 90s tv shows…almost as much as i love your photography!
great job! π
That first one is killer!! Glad I found you two. π
I love seeing all the perfect “in-the-moment” captures :]
I don’t know you well enough to be commenting on your wedding photos. I found this page because my name is Bobbi and that name popped up on Twitter. But I have to say-this is the coolest wedding album I’ve ever seen!!! Happy life.
